I'd never wish death on anyone, but I honestly can't wait for Fred Phelps to pop his clogs.

Agreed. I don't see anything funny in that. If it was one of the adults yes but not a child.

I dont remember it being like that, a kid in tears is not my idea of fun no matter what family the kid is from.

I can't find the one I mean though. It was not a small child involved in the one I'm thinking of.

Lol I think of them ALL as brats, oldest down to almost youngest. The really young ones can't be held responsible.

Absolutely and of course these cults should not be using children like this and exposing them to such risks.

Round my way the JWs use a tiny girl to front their door knocking and street acosting. Puts her at risk and is despicable exploition double glazing salesmen would not sink that low and if they did Social Services would be on their neck.

They refuse to do anything about religious sales child exploitation however..

Agreed.

Coincidentally I had a couple of JW's knock at the door today. It was a shame I had to say no thanks and send them on their way as the younger one was dressed for the hot weather and was bang tidy.

Well, we don't think much of them either, however, they have the right to protest just as we have the right to protest against them.

They actually make their money off of lawsuits and don't let them kid you they know the law and how to work it to their advantage.

Jesus loves them so they cannot be in the wrong, plain and simple.

People shouldn't play into their hands and then this lot wouldn't have any more resources available to use.

If they did, I wonder what they think about Jesus? What with him being a Jew and everything.

The sad thing is that they're not doing it for the attention, they genuinely believe the hate that they preach

That's true but people's emotions get the best of them and they strike out at how disrespectful and hurtful the WBC folks are to soldiers, children and anyone else that they think if they protested the funerals they would get news coverage. Problem is they do get coverage, just like we are talking about them now. Its pathetic and its all for show.

They may spew hate, but they're non-violent. The people who physically attack them (especially the kids) are worse than they are.

They'd probably shout at you louder and louder until you gave up.

Seems to be their sole tactic.

Sometimes hurtful words can provoke a violent reaction. I'm not saying it's right, but it is understandable if the verbal provocation is strong and persistent enough. Just like when someone's taunting you and you eventually lash out at them.

Their motives for doing violence can be understood, but not justified. As you say, it's not right - it's irrational and uncivilised, and makes them worse than the WBC who are simply airing their views, how ever unpleasant they may be.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did. I cannot even begin to put into words how utterly vile and repellent these lot are. I also think some of the kids just go along with this farce through fear of being thrown out of their home, or, being shunned by their loved ones. I think the best reaction anyone can give to them is to just COMPLETELY ignore them. People shouldn't give a response of any kind to these lot. They'd hate being ignored. Even mocking them gives them some sort of acknowledgement. I think it's best to just act like they're not there at all.
