Just started reading 'Gone Girl' on the Kindle. Picked it up randomly in Waterstones last week as Mr H vanished upstairs and he loses all track of time in there, so I just settled down with a random book. But then found myself really enjoying it. Wanted to buy it on Kindle, later though as it's cheaper!

Been reading 'Gypsy Boy' and 'Gypsy Boy on the Run' by Mikey Walsh.

Fascinating reading, about a gypsy now living outside his community, and still on the run even now.
I identify with him feeling rejected, misunderstood and having to walk away from those he loves.
Sometimes painful to read, but you have to admire the sheer determination of Mikey throughout all his troubles.

Finished Bring Up the Bodies and enjoyed it just as much as Wolf Hall - can't wait for The Mirror and the Light now but will also be sad to say goodbye to Mantel's Cromwell!

Have just started Jane Austen's Persuasion - the only Austen I haven't read.

The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman

A historical fictional account of Richard III, the Duke of Gloucester.

If you enjoyed the TV series of The White Queen, then this is a must read.

Have you read 'When Christ and his Saints Slept' by the same author? I remember reading it years ago and enjoying it.

I've only just discovered the author. And this is my first read after exploring more about Richard the III.

However, after looking up your recommendation I found the following. Looks like you were at the beginning and I'm way at the end

1101-1154 When Christ And His Saints Slept (Vol 1 of Trilogy)
1156-1171 Time And Space (Vol 2 of Trilogy)
12th Cent Devil's Brood (Vol 3 of Trilogy)- not yet released
1192-1193 The Queen's Man
1193 Cruel As The Grave
1183-1232 Here Be Dragons (Vol 1 of Welsh Trilogy)
1231-1267 Falls The Shadow (Vol 2 of Welsh Trilogy)
1271-1283 The Reckoning (Vol 3 of Welsh Trilogy)
1459-1492 The Sunne In Splendour

A lot of reading there if they're all hefty tomes Quite tempted by The Sunne In Splendour though.
