I'm about to start reading The House at Sea's End by Elly Griffiths. It's the third book in the Ruth Galloway series. More skeletons for Ruth and DCI Nelson to investigate.”
Thanks for that recommendation Sue. I might see if my library has that one. My audiobook wish list is very short at the moment so I'm desperate for recommendations. I've only got 2 of the Elly Griffiths ones left to go - I've listened to all the others now.
I'm currently listening to
'The Girl in the Red Coat' by Kate Hamer. It's a novel about a young girl who is abducted and taken to America by a religious nut type who believes she is some sort of Chosen One. We follow her story, and the story of her mother who is left behind searching for her and trying to move on. It's kept me interested all the way through - I guess I'd give it 3 or 4 stars (out of five).
In print, I'm reading
'Roman Bath Discovered' by Barry Cunliffe - an interesting and well-written non-fiction book about the discovery and excavation of all the Roman remains at bath. A really good read, even for me (who doesn't know much about archaeology and doesn't read much serious non-fiction).
