There are three HD books after changes - Ghost Story, Cold Days and Skin Game. Skin Game is my favourite HD book.

Yes I'm onto the last one now as I mentioned. I'll probably read them all again next year, never get tired of re-reading them, one of my favourites series 😊

I'm currently reading Brandon Sanderson also, Warbreaker, I'm about two thirds of the way through. Probably not my favourite of his so far but it's still very enjoyable.

I've just finished reading The Kings of the Grail by Margarita Torres Sevilla and Jose Miguel Ortega del Rio.

These authors claim to have found the Cup of Christ after the discovery of Islamic parchments in an Egyptian university during the Arab Spring. The book charts the history of the Holy Grail, from Jerusalem to its final resting place in Spain.

Haven't read a bad book by him yet. Warbreaker is the only one I haven't read though.

That's on my wishlist. I notice it has been reduced to £4.99, which is still a bit dear for me considering I have another 170 books already downloaded on my Kindle
Let me know what you think of it

After the disappointment of my last book (The Drowning Lesson) I am going back to an author you can always rely on for a good read, so I have just started The Bay at Midnight by Diane Chamberlain.

The Happy Return by C.S. Forester (Hornblower)

I've decided to read the Hornblower series of novels this year so am starting with this one.

The series can be read two ways, either chronologically in date order of the story itself of the order in which Forester wrote them.

I've decided on the second way, The Happy Return is actually the fifth book chronologically.

In the end I didn't start this. I've read Along Came a Spider by James Patterson and now onto Kiss the Girls.

I don't know what it is at the moment but I'm more into re-reading than starting new. Really need to get back into it and start getting through my TBR pile though.

The Widow, by Fiona Barton. It's very good so far, pretty sure it'll be a big best seller.

Lucky you! I loved Life after Life and hadn't realised there was a sequel - I shall request an Amazon gift card for my birthday and treat myself to it.

I loved 11.22.63 - I read it in about 4 days on holiday a couple of years ago - will probably re-read it in the next year or so, It's in my top 3 of books I have ever read!

I'm listening to The End of the Affair by Graham Greene, narrated by Colin Firth.
Love, hate, jealousy and God.

I'm reading Chalkhill Blue by Richard Masefield.
This was first published in 1984 and I've been meaning to read it for a very long time. The story takes place over the first twenty or so years of the 20th century and is centred around a small village in the folds of the Sussex Downs between Seaford and Eastbourne. Although Sussex is at the centre, the story reaches Australia, South America, London and the battlefields of the First World War. The Chalkhill Blue is a butterfly which is found on chalk downland, unsurprisingly, it's blue!
