saw it in the shop and didnt know to buy or not so I think I give it a go

I really enjoyed this series,Chelsea is a fantastic writer,if not a little disturbed!!,although not sure what that says about me either!!
I finished Wonder by R J Palacio yesterday - I actually read it all in one session. It's the story of a young boy called August with severe facial disfigurements and his first year going to school at the age of 10. It's got several narrators, all children, so you see many a different viewpoint about August and his experiences. It's an easy-to-read book in the sense that the language is quite simplistic, but there are several scenes which make for difficult reading, as you're faced with the cruelty of people and even young children. I loved this book and it made me really think about the way I act and treat people. I wouldn't say I'm a mean person but as they quote from JM Barrie 'be a little more kind that is necessary' - and I do believe that this is a good philosophy

Snowdrops by A D Miller. Not my usual sort of thing but I'm out of books and a friend gave me this to tide me over.

The Sea, The Sea by Iris Murdoch.
Only a few pages in, but already enjoying it (as compared to Fifty Shades of utter b******ks which was the previous thing I read)

'Keri Karin' by Kat Ward. Its the follow up to her first book 'Keri'. Again I am finding this writer her book descriptive and she has a way that can take you there just as she did when I read her first book.

I've got this to read on my kindle, it's been there for a while I think! Would you recommend it?
Nearly finished Saving Grace by Ciara Geraghty. It's quite good, a funny story about a woman who's lost her way in life after the death of her brother. She has a one night stand with Bernard, the new IT guy at work, cheating on her partner Shane who is mean and disinterested. It's good so far, I'm enjoying it and it has made me giggle in places!

Well, I'm only really in the first throws of the book so it's hard to say. I'll let you know when I finish it. So far, so good but with thrillers lots of them start well and then fade.
The Sick Rose by Erin Kelly - got it out of the library after watching the Poison Tree and am really enjoying it. I found the Poison Tree a good read too although I was disappointed with the series on TV.
Didn't really enjoy Gabriel's Rapture and Gabriel's Inferno. And it had loads of good reviews on Amazon!

I'm reading Still With Me by Thierry Cohen. I got it in the 99p deal of the day but its a very good and thought provoking read which I am dying to finish.

Have just finished Naomi,s Room by Jonathan Aycliffe,i waited for ages to get it in ebook form,it was so scary I wouldnt go to the toilet in the night,though it,s quite disturbing as well because it,s a bit brutal in places.Probably one of the scariest I have ever read.
My last book this year was Terry Pratchet - Snuff... What a brilliant surprise! I had read some of his much earlier work and thought it's probably not for me, but this book was a huge pleasure and a privelege to read. I could easily read it again and probably will, but I'm already looking forward to reading another one of his latest books.

Oh just downloaded that onto my Kindle, might read it next. Although I'm a bit of a wimp so we'll see
Currently Readng "The Killing Hour" Lisa Gardner. Re-reading her Quincy books then going to try some of her other series.
