Me too. Thanks angiebroch. I read so much crime fiction that I'm always on the lookout for something a bit different.

Excellent, evolving story of a twin brother of a schitzophrenic, the book, follows the parallel story of his grandfather, who originated from Italy and his struggle to succeed in the US. A very rewarding read, it reminded me a lot of A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz, which I would also highly recommend.”
I really like the sound of that too. Some promising recommendations on here today.
I have now finished 'Notes From An Exhibition' by Patrick Gale, which I loved so much it is right up in my all-time top 5 favourite books.
Difficult to follow that, so I'm just listening to an Agatha Raisin audiobook now, and dipping in and out of art books.
Next in my pile I have 'Capital' by John Lanchester.
