Just finished Redemption by Jussi Adler-Olsen, which was excellent. Now reading The Falcons of Fire & Ice, by Karen Maitland.

The Passage by Justin Cronin . I'm about two thirds of the way through and wondering about getting the second book in the trilogy, The Twelve, has anyone read it?

The sky used to be blue: a silo story (Karma 1) - Patrice Fitzgerald

A good spin off novelette from Hugh Howey's Wool series.

I am about three quarters of the way into Less than Zero but i've put the book down somewhere and can't find it. Very frustrating.

I still have Glamorama to read. Have you read this one?
Yeah, I've read them all now. Glamorama is proper bonkers, from what I remember. I enjoyed it a lot.

I'm now reading (well, nearly finished- got about 20 pages to read when I go to bed) The Iron Will Of Shoeshine Cats by Hesh Kestin, which is great. Set in 1963, it's about a Jewish student who's basically only interested in books and shagging, who gets taken under the wing of a crime lord. It's pretty funny, and a very enjoyable read; the guy's got a great way with a story.

Just finished Inferno!

I thought the Lost Symbol was a pile of crap but this takes the biscuit! Don't think I'll bother with this next one! He is spiralling further down!

Just finished 'American Psycho' but had seen the film adaptation first so knew all the supposed crimes were actually the protagonists delusions.
Still enjoyed though.

Haha I had the same guilty feeling when I didn't spoiler Anna Karenina and was (rightly) chastised by a very nice forum member. I felt awful . I wouldn't worry too much Kitty, not many venture into this ere forum.

Easy mistake to make. Sorry I was quite so snappy rather than just making a joke of it; I was feeling a bit grumpy.

I'm reading Ryu Murakami's Popular Hits Of The Showa Era. It's... it's pretty messed-up, but that's kind of what you'd expect from the guy who wrote Audition and In The Miso Soup.

Finished The Falcons of Fire and Ice by Karen Maitland, which is brilliant! And now for something completely different, as they say, I'm reading Lennox by Craig Russell, which looks good. It's about a PI in Glasgow in the 50's.

Just finished 1356 by Bernard Cornwell. Not my usual kind of thing. I usually go for present day crime fiction.

I'd previously read Azingcourt which I enjoyed.

A good book finished it in a few days.

I've just finished two books on holiday - The White Princess by Philippa Gregory - all about Elizabeth of York and Henry Tudor which I did enjoy but I didn't like the ending.

Also A Dangerous Inheritance by Alison Weir which is about Katherine Plantagenet (Richard III illegitimate daughter) and Lady Katherine Grey - (Lady Jane Greys sister). I thought this book was excellent!!! I felt so sorry for both of the women in this book
