Certainly not one of his best I agree - there was too much 'waffle' in it for me but I got it on Kindle very cheap and it was worth the money. I think if I had paid full price I would have been disappointed.

Actually I take this back, I've just finished it and I could barely see the page through tears. Incredibly sad story

Linwood Barclay - The Accident.

Haven't read one of his books for a while. It's a nice read, I'm getting quite into it

Same here jojo

I usually zip through a book a week. As soon as I put one down, I can't wait to start the next. But lately I've been really disinterested and leaving quite a few books unfinished.

Have been given some recommendations by friends so I'm going to try getting into it again, starting with The Lost Art Of Keeping Secrets by Eva Rice. Hope it's a good 'un!

The Black Country - Alex Grecian.

Then I've got the new Harry Hole book The Police by Jo Nesbo which I'm really looking forward to.

I'm re-reading Azincourt by Bernard Cornwell. He's a favourite author of mine.

Finished "Gone Girl"by Gillian Flynn. Highy rated on Amazon .. personally I thought it was tripe as a psychological thriller but there was some stuff in there that could have worked as a novella on the theme of anatomy of a marriage.

I don't think he wrote it, just came up with the premise which is actually very good. I'd bet good money that it was ghost written. The writing is nothing like his earlier books and is pretty dire.

I didn't pay for it at all and I was still disappointed!

Was very disappointed with The Accident by Linwood Barclay. Felt that it should of ended about 80% of the way in. I wish that authors would finish a book at a decent place, rather than adding a few extra chapters for shock, which more often than not is an anticlimax.

I have a few days off work so hoping to read something light and fluffy. Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan I think

I 'did' Lord of the Rings again earlier this year And it's true- there is so much in there that comes out in re-reads.

Just ordered something on kindle: The Far Time Incident by Neve Malakovic. Sounds like an interesting premise, and the type of thing I 'should' like.

It was only 99p on Amazon, so it's worth a shot even if it's not that good. They're having a bit of a sale at the moment with 100 different books down to £2.99 or less. ( link ) so if you're bored and want to try something new, it might be worth a try?

Just finished Will You Love Me? by Cathy Glass

Plus last week I finished my epic reading of all 7 Harry Potter books, it took me just under two weeks

Now I'm going to return to a book I attempted to start at the weekend, going to be bit more difficult now I've returned to college at long last.

Sam's letters to Jennifer - by James Patterson. I had no idea Sam was Jennifer's grandmother when I bought the ebook, so it's not quite what I had in mind LOL.
