Boots Ingredients Coconut and Almond intensive care mask £1.99 for 350 ml tub. Very moisturising and detangling. Popular with us ladies with natural afro hair so should be good for thirsty bleached hair.

Haven't used it in years, but I used to use henna treatment wax - the brand name is Henara, but places like Bodycare stock generics. I'd put it on, wrap a towel round my hair and leave for as long as possible. My hair was lovely and soft once I rinsed it off

If your hair is in really bad condition any old cheap conditioner will do. Wash your hair, slap half a bottle on and leave it in overnight. Rinse it out in the morning. Job done.

Hair that is chemically processed needs to strengthened in order to counteract the harsh effect of the chemicals. I would suggest you buy Aubrey Organics GBP conditioner, it's about a tenner but if that's too expensive I would use a egg mixed into just a normal moisture conditioner for 10 minutes or so.

Whatever moisture conditioner you go for try and get one that is targeted at dry and damaged hair because these conditioners will be more effective for you. To enhance the effects of the conditioner add some extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. Better still once a week slather it on overnight and rinse out in the morning.

Have you tried Superdrugs own brand? At 99p pence anyone can afford that!
