lots of telly's one ariel bad pictures?
i have a loft ariel and four tv's running off it and no matter how i mess about with it i can't get them all giving a good picture. the obvious thing is better equipment, but as a novice i don't have a clue and a recent visit to B & Q revealed a multitude of products. which ones? and how?
any help would be well received.

Aerial feeds into a multiway booster. Thats a mains powered box which that has 2 or more aerial outputs. Connect each of the outputs to a VCR/TV.
Hope that makes sense. Dave |

If you disconnect 3 of the TVs, is the picture on the one remaining TV OK?
If it is, then you need a distribution amplifier/booster. Fit this in the loft for best results. If it isn't, then you really need a better aerial as well as a distribution amplifier. If you live in a poor signal area, you will get the best results from a new roof aerial with a mast-head amplifier. This is really a job for a specialist installer. Steve |
