And tbh i will only take Rihanna as i know she will be really heading places when she is mainly focused on the direction of her music...i really like TTT....but Rated R is a master....stroke and good girl gone bad really paved a lot for the R&B/Pop blurring genre really! so i do hope she really puts effort into it a lot more.

I mean she has headlined the use of Dubstep/Pop/Dance over the past few years and sparked a lot of trends she reminds me a little of grace jones, Madonna and Kylie in a bubble really with Britney marketable appeal. its interesting.

With KP i dont know too much about really but i know both of her albums are ok but i really hope her next album is like her true first defining moment...her perhaps "Like A Prayer" of current age....not in terms of scale (nothing can) but of personal struggles with her marriage, life etc would be interesting id be there for that like her peers Blackout/Rated R and/4 had

As for gaga....well i am so lukewarm to her right now...fanbase has killed attention, i have had abuse thrown my way for no reason, its difficult to truly appreciate her amongs the hypocracy of what she stands for....its stupid! But whatever to it.

Im shimmying to Beth Ditto right now...now THERE is a band that should have half the success these lasses have ”

Rihanna is some respects a bit of a Pokémon! She just keep evolving and getting better and better, maybe not album wise because she's yet to get another Rated R, but in terms of her performance, she really has stepped it up vocally and dance-wise. She is definitely a pop chameleon that always calls to her Carribbean-home roots, which I love. I think she should increase her use of dubstep maybe a dubstep/Carribbean number, really push the boat out.

Katy Perry is a pretty solid pop artist, the potential to be better is there, absolutely. I suppose in some ways she is an earlier Rihanna career-wise, around the GGGB-era. Good material, not the best performer in the world. I hope Katy takes some time out and really makes a defining third record, it doesn't have to be totally darkness and misery, it can still be fun and tongue-in cheek - she does that so well so we need some more of that.

Lady Gaga - performance wise she is pretty consistent, good dancer, good singer, she just needs to create her own signature instead of 'referencing' or 'admiring' her contemporaries (I won't delve into this issue much more for war-preventing reasons ). Enough of this controversy for controversy's sake business, let the music do the talking! My favourite Gaga moments have been when it's just her and the piano/Jazz accompaniment - maybe this is where her niche should be, because her raw vocals are great. Maybe take the jazz sounds and mesh it into the industrial electro pop she is infamous for? Experimental pop is always so much fun and usually an artist's best moment (X, Blackout).

Totally, RIhanna as a live eprformer and artist has come such a long way...her recent Idol performance of Where Have You Been.....oh my freakin days! And what with her tour next year and of course the fact shes in her mid-20s she can go even further!

and yeah i see what you mean....like KP said the Superbowl really inspried her....i love that when she saw Madonna she called it a very spiritual experience she can deffo take influence there and make something personal and gritty but really tongue in cheek too....but maybe not with Dr Luke, Max Martin....

And so true....i mean i hate fan wars but she needs her own...ahem...identity her fans in their mass are in their mass and will buy anything she does right now....so i think if she experiments a bit with Electro and Jazz we could have something really worthy of her fame....but anymore Re-done, DJ Brown Shadow, or Fernando Electropop OD! then she will definitely "Cyndi Lauper" it up im afraid tbh (not using Cyndi in bad light as i lvoe the woman so much!....but its a risk tha Cyn did by stayng in the same niche for too long!)

I love the SS

Rihanna's next tour will be MASSIVE! She will no doubt have another album out with it knowing her

Katy definitely needs to play with some new producers and stray away from Dr Luke/Max Martin. Maybe William Orbit would be the best approach for something sincere/dramatic/spiritual about dealing with her heartbreak/divorce. If she still wants her electro/dance maybe Benassi.

Yeah, Gaga didn't really make that many changes and shot herself in the foot with Born This Way, it wasn't revolutionary/pop defining/best album ever - far from it! I think that's where she went wrong in that era and so she didn't set the world on fire. Plus her single choices...well that speaks for itself. I will never forgive her for not releasing SchieBe! As much as she owes Fernando/RedOne for helping her break the industry she needs to step away from them next time yeah.

That's another thing I love about the SS, they aren't afraid to try different styles genres but stay true to their roots too!

This is the way i see them as having listened to all and owning all their music etc and seeing their perfrmances.

Rihanna is definitely a superstar but has yet to create that defining moment where she combines the artistic grit and integrity of Rated R with the pop commercial sound of Loud and realy move in a new direction and properly create rather than lend herself the trends she needs to stop and redress the situation TTT could have been one of the most iconic and best albums of the decade but she got caught up in the money ever her problem.

Katy Perry people underestimate her but she is the dark horse her progression form avril lavigne punk pop of OOTB to the bubblegum of TD and the whole imagery and ideas that were involved in the entire era show a huge Madonna streak and she can only improve and keep on doing so and she never shouts but whispers and comes out on top.

Lady Gaga forever doing herself over unsure of herself and often over eggs ideas concepts without succesfully pulling them off her videos music and persona have weakened rather than strengthened she needs to figure things out and come back to us only truly iconic moment and resoundig success so far TFM.

Fame Monster! Ah yes, that's twice Gaga that you haven't released a single I wanted you to! Dance in the Dark...the hit that never happened! Unforgiveable Gaga!

I can see what you mean about KP being an underdog of sorts as no one really expected her ascendance and all those smashes on Teenage Dream, as a fan it was a pleasant surprise! She has loads of potential and can only get better. I suppose in a way she is a bit of a chameleon herself, going from Avril/Kelly Clarkson to bubblegum pop! The next direction will be interesting to see.

Plus not releasing it as a stand alone EP in the Uk record company or not that and not releasing DITD,Monster, or SHICD just unforgivable

I think that is what i love about her people have long said she copied gaga and her image is falsified but if you look back to her earliest videos and everything on OOTB she has always been that way and continued and improved ten fold on TD there are so many avenues for her to go down she has already proven herself versatile and a chameleon and more than the others has the potential to really grow and change plus she makes pretty addictive pop.

I think that is what i love about magic hour in fact its a showcase of their vibrancy and versatility and their ability to tap into trends something not seen since their debut.
