And tbh i will only take Rihanna as i know she will be really heading places when she is mainly focused on the direction of her music...i really like TTT....but Rated R is a master....stroke and good girl gone bad really paved a lot for the R&B/Pop blurring genre really! so i do hope she really puts effort into it a lot more.
I mean she has headlined the use of Dubstep/Pop/Dance over the past few years and sparked a lot of trends she reminds me a little of grace jones, Madonna and Kylie in a bubble really with Britney marketable appeal. its interesting.
With KP i dont know too much about really but i know both of her albums are ok but i really hope her next album is like her true first defining moment...her perhaps "Like A Prayer" of current age....not in terms of scale (nothing can) but of personal struggles with her marriage, life etc would be interesting id be there for that
like her peers Blackout/Rated R and/4 had
As for gaga....well i am so lukewarm to her right now...fanbase has killed attention, i have had abuse thrown my way for no reason, its difficult to truly appreciate her amongs the hypocracy of what she stands for....its stupid! But whatever to it.
Im shimmying to Beth Ditto right now...now THERE is a band that should have half the success these lasses have

Rihanna is some respects a bit of a Pokémon! She just keep evolving and getting better and better, maybe not album wise because she's yet to get another Rated R, but in terms of her performance, she really has stepped it up vocally and dance-wise. She is definitely a pop chameleon that always calls to her Carribbean-home roots, which I love. I think she should increase her use of dubstep maybe a dubstep/Carribbean number, really push the boat out.
Katy Perry is a pretty solid pop artist, the potential to be better is there, absolutely. I suppose in some ways she is an earlier Rihanna career-wise, around the GGGB-era. Good material, not the best performer in the world. I hope Katy takes some time out and really makes a defining third record, it doesn't have to be totally darkness and misery, it can still be fun and tongue-in cheek - she does that so well so we need some more of that.
Lady Gaga - performance wise she is pretty consistent, good dancer, good singer, she just needs to create her own signature instead of 'referencing' or 'admiring' her contemporaries (I won't delve into this issue much more for war-preventing reasons
). Enough of this controversy for controversy's sake business, let the music do the talking! My favourite Gaga moments have been when it's just her and the piano/Jazz accompaniment - maybe this is where her niche should be, because her raw vocals are great. Maybe take the jazz sounds and mesh it into the industrial electro pop she is infamous for? Experimental pop is always so much fun and usually an artist's best moment (X, Blackout).

And what with her tour next year and of course the fact shes in her mid-20s she can go even further!
