i would agree with others that a 'normal' goldfish or shebunkin should be in a pond. But a pond isn't suitable for the 'fancy' types - these can live in tanks as they move much slower than normal goldfish do.
However I dont really approve of 'fancy' fish as in reality they are deformed and can't really have a fulfilling life - much like overbred dogs imho.
