I have the new iPad and use 2 email addresses, one is personal and the other business.

My question is probably hard to answer but may as well ask. Is there anyway to access more emails than what the iPad shows. For example, after a certain amount of emails, they start to be removed automatically. Is there any way to search past emails or not. I can just go via hotmail but then what is the point of the Mail App.

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Show

is the setting for the number of messages that appear by default. You can select 50, 100, 200, 500 or 1000.

Also, if you scroll to the bottom of the mail box then there is a button to load more messages if any more are on the server but not displayed.

In addition to the above you also need to go into Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars then click on each Account name in turn.

On the box that pops up change the Mail Days to Synch setting to whatever you find acceptable. This setting partially overrides the number of messages to show. If you set it to say 1 week and there are only 10 messages less than a week old then that is all you will see.

Mine has an option "search again on server" or something like that, so if it's not on my iPad it'll look on the server as well.
