Just wondering what with the Euro's starting next week, what everyone's favourite England football song is?

I mean there have been some utter shockers i.e Tony Christie's 'England Win The World Cup' in 06 but there is a couple gems out there!

I'd say the 98 version of Three Lions is my favourite, love the opening of that song

World in Motion by New Order is the best song musically quite comfortably, it's actually quite a creative tune. The original version of Three Lions is quite charming and refreshingly pragmatic though.

I don't think there have been many other decent football songs, in all honesty.

Got to say The Lightening Seeds and Baddiel and Skinner - Three Lions
However the Barnes rap is legendary

"Three Lions" (Euro 96 version) by a mile.

I dislike most of the others, especially "World In Motion".

This one is rather good, but seemed to have passed most people by:

Rik Mayall - Noble England

Pop Will Eat Itself - 'Touched By The Hand Of Cicciolina'. End of.

World In Motion was pretty good though and deserves a mention due to the fact that Gavin & Stacey featured them doing the rap in it's entirety adds to the kitsch / camp glory

Can't beat Three Lions in my opinion, but Sven Sven Sven is also one of my faves.

It's between 'World In Motion' and 'Three Lions'.

I like them both in different ways.

I liked that as well - and I image if I looked hard enough I'd find the CD, I even remember the cover...

3 Lions (1996 and 1998 versions) are easily the best IMO
But I also like Back Home, by the 1970 England World Cup squad

I won't lie, I have a good few football albums and I listen to them regularly.

I think my favourite has to be Three Lions.

But I also love Vindaloo, We're Coming Over, On The Ball (loved this song!), Sven Sven Sven. And I own World In Motion, Shout, and many others!

I also own Blue Is The Colour and Glory Glory Man Utd, although that doesn't fit the topic.

Great song, and the whole Bitter Sweet Symphony parody just tops it off.
