She calls them the 'Shawner' family.
They've got 'a few fans and friends' in NZ, and they're 'one of the family'. Charity work? Peter Andre - really A list innit?
They're still moaning that the show was showing them in a bad light too.

It won't be in the UK? Perhaps the nutters on the FB 'Support the Chawners coming to NZ' are right then. Still, no airline would insure them and as it'd take at least 8 seats to accommodate them on a 24 hour flight which their poor health couldn't cope with, I think it's safe to say this 'show' is all in their heads.

I remember Phil posting a link to the interview, and apparently Twice Green (who have seemingly vanished after their two highly disturbing tribute songs to Phil) were "in the studio". I was wondering if Mike the DJ is actually Twice Green's dad, and the radio station he works for, the NZ equivalent of Rutland Radio in the Midlands.

Isn't it? Dont be a stranger lovely_lady. You know how much we always appreciate your encouraging posts.

If the NZ trip is all in Philth's mind, which, as a world expert in delusion, we know it is, his head must be pounding. There's the fantastic news of Emma's climb up the ranking in that poll for starters. Though shame on them for multi voting. I'm truly shocked at people who do that.

His brain cell is under threat of disappearing!

These online polls are totally meaningless and I'm pretty sure the organisers of them realise that. Anyone with enough time on their hands can manipulate an online poll, all it needs is a pretty uneventful real life and an obsessive nature

If Emma Chawner "wins" the most amazing X Factor performance poll, surely even she will realise it's not a genuine victory?

Just come across this. The interviewer on this NZ radio show appears to be a 12/13 year old boy, the presenters seem to be 'volunteers' too.

I expect with his five brain cells Phil thought he was on Radio New Zealand.

Ah in which case he is Twice Green's little brother And it looks as if it is an even smaller, less successful radio station than Radio Rutland.

Poor Phil

He thought he was doing a phone-in interview to the entire NZ nation, and instead he was talking to some kid in his nan's back bedroom, broadcasting to approximately 14 people.

tenorlady I'm shocked

After nearly 3 years on our screens, I've learnt one thing about the delightful Emma. She never, ever, ever shows the slightest trace of self awareness. Of course she'll believe it's true. She still thinks she can sing in tune and that she "worked her ass off" at the Animal Charity, explaining to the poor suckers who listen to Mikes Radio in NZ and all her Antipodean fans, just how rotten Bios editing had been.

That interview nearly made me need a new keyboard as a mug of hot tea was being held right over it as I listened and hooted with laughter.

Classic Chawner replies. Magnificent!

I've just listened to that inteview, too. Any ideas who the deranged lady is who is sending them packages and has often to help them when they get to NZ? Mike sounds like a 20 something female. I'm scratching my head over the entire thing. The one thing the station got right was the final statement about it being "classic gold". yes, it is.

The Kiwi equivalent of Mad Muriel, no doubt.

And there's that scary looking bloke who's been drawing Chawner portraits, the one who looks like a serial killer, he's offered to put them up. He probably has his eye on filling his freezer ready for the winter

Mike sounds like a female because his voice hasn't broken yet, I think his radio station is part of his "Entertainment" badge for the cubs.

Why didn't they have Sumo wrestling in the Olympics?

Blatant discrimination against the Chawners, they would have done us proud on Team GB.

I'd love to have seen Phil doing ping pong or fencing or something And Emma would have done GB proud with the floor gymnastics! Mind you, I'd hate to have had to squeeze her into her suit

Ping pong? He's got the diabetic, you know, he can't do anything so hazardous.

Competitive sausage eating would definitely have won us another gold though

He'd have had some stiff competition from the Germans with that one

Going off track a bit ( and having caught up with the last 2 episodes of BFC 2) have you ever wondered how much this programme has cost the NHS?

Personally if I was their doctor, therapist, physical trainer, nutrition expert or even Kelvin MacKenzie I'd be in dire need of counselling, anti depressants, alcohol to try and blot their overwhelming enthusiam for anything vaguely related to improving their lives plus valium tand blood pressure tablets as it rose to dangerous levels.

. Director Dan is probably turning into a raging alcoholic as we speak ( or has locked himself in a darkened room, having a breakdown after 3 series of the sheer bloody mindedness of the whole lot of them). The crew must feel the same.

I think I'll send him a gold medal for putting up with them. I'm still full of Olympic cheer and "feelgoodness" that's not a word is it? to say he's just as deserving as all our athletes.

They're selling chocolate gold medals in Sainsburys, I'm sure Director Dan would be delighted with one - and they're half price now the Olympics are finished.

I agree with you, and I'm really looking forward to the paralympics.

To keep it on topic, I'm sure Audrey Chawner is aware The Best Of Men, the film about the man who founded the paralympics, is on TV this Thursday. She does know the TV schedule off by heart after all

But it's on Bbc2 and it's not a soap so I don't expect she's taken much notice of it. The schedule she recites like a parrot is ITV 1. Apart from Eastenders, she didn't mention BBC at all.

Ah well, I will be watching it.

Philth will never be The Best Of Men. Even if he manages his 10k hike - donations so far £0.00

I love the intro paragraph on his page:

Quote:
'Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations'.
It's so crystal clear he hasn't personalised that at all - capital letters are used, commas appear in the correct places (as do apostrophes) and added to this, it's not just one long sentence.

A Philip version would be:

Quote:
'hi thanks for visting my page through virgin money giving you can sponser me and donations will quickly processed and passed to charitys virgin money giving is not for profit organisaton and will claim gift aid on charitys behalf were donation is elegeble for this i really appreceate all your support and thank you for any donatons tak car phil
