Testing testing one two testing?..

.....how bizarre. I nearly died. Thought I'd been banned off here. I hit the "add reply" button and it said I don't have permission. Quick replies work though.

What the eff, guys?! Page 8 has disappeared too.....OMG. Its like The Langoliers
There's been a bit of a thread clean up by the looks of things. And our good friend Gaston has been banned. I'm sure you are all as devastated as I am.

Yeah Grimm's rubbish and Hans Christian Andersen. I'd much prefer Snow White, Cinderella and Little Mermaid any day

I dunno why he was banned, he was only stirring, I like a bit of a stir now and again.

Can posting so quickly in succession be classed as spamming at all? Perhaps that was part of his ban. I don't mind a little bit of trolling etc, (come on, trolling is part of what started this thread off in the first place before so many brilliant folk turned it into something amazing!), but perhaps the DS mods are on the case with this thread. We need to keep it as fun as possible

Is everyone looking forward to the Chawnerfest coming up on Bio? I've got most of the 3rd series left to watch since I've still not gotten a copy from my neighbour yet. I shall do that next week since they're away again. Preferably with some hot cross buns, some scones, a melon and some sambucca!

GAH. Moving house is so stressful. Good Luck with that and best wishes for the new home.

No "change of address card" for the Chunkies then? Wise woman.

btw Kim, if you get tweets or facebook invites from someone called gaston, you might want to ignore them. If you read back a bit you'll see why.

Best of luck Kim, can't be easy moving house with two young children. Is your new house bigger than the one you're in now?
I'd love to see Phil's face when he realises he doesn't know where you all are.

As if he'd find out GG as he doesn't bother keeping in contact anyway.

Happy house-moving Kim, bet the kids are excited! Let us know how you get on.

All the best with the house move, Kim

I wonder how purple Phil's face will go when he finds out you have moved without telling him? As purple as his shirt, no doubt, and his nose hair will positively bristle.

Good luck with the house move Kim, after seeing what my brother in law is going through at the moment with moving - I don't envy you putting up with all that stress.

No more Gaston I was looking forward to all of you thinking of ways he could impress Phil. Oh well, back to work for me.

Well I shall be keeping a close eye on Emma's facebook page - and if she announces she has met someone special (or will that be 'sum1?'), we'll know young Gaston has won her over with his offer to light her cigs and feed her chocolate. I still think he was on a bit of a wind up though.

Are the Chawners appearing on the Big Brother spin-off programme this year?

I thought he was already doing a good job of trying to impress Phil...

Posting a load of inarticulate, badly-spelled drivel and fawning over Emma are just about the only 2 things the purple one is good at.

Very true. Maybe he WAS Phil, in a cunning disguise, to encourage everyone to think his youngest daughter is a sexy wee minx? Instead of a belligerent, foul-mouthed, lazy oik?

Urgh!!!! Why did I read this so close to lunch time?? I'm not even having a trifle

I've piled on weight since giving up smoking and breaking my arm, in fact I hope I'm not turning into Emma as I'm sure she had a broken arm in one of the earlier series. I don't want my dad to grab my breast and talk about 'standing to attention'.

Oh well that's killed my appetite!

Then you'll lose the weight you've put on easily. Just think of Phil's hand grabbing Emma's boob and it'll put you off food completely. That ought to be added to our book of Helpful Chawner Hints.

We really do need a 'vomit' smilie don't we? I feel sick

LOL at Kim! Good for you, can't wait for them to find out you've moved! It'll drive them mad wondering where you've gone Wishing you lots of happiness in your new home

And to all those with access to Phil's FB account - is he still maintaining a 'dignified' (ahem!) silence and not posting personal stuff? Is it still all quiet?

As to Gaston, perhaps DS doesn't like being used as a dating/stalker site

Phil's still posting personal stuff on facebook, usually about his helicopter pylons or Emma's diet-induced health problems. Sam and Aud rarely get a mention. The court case is looming, I wonder if he'll post about that? I think he was persuaded to take down all the comments he made about the ex-magistrate neighbour (eventually).

I'm sure Phil has deleted some comments under one of the Race For Life posts made. At one point he said Sam and Emma were taking part in one event, but I think all mention of that has been wiped.

I wonder if they even ever officially applied to be in it?

Nah. It was probably a quieter day (ignoring the usual arguments) in Chawnerville and I'm convinced he trawls the local website to see wha he can boast of. Em running for charidee? You've got to be kidding For The Chunks charity begins and ends at home.

He replied to one comment saying that the Race for Life wasn't til 20th June in Blackburn. Still, if they turn up, I'll be mightily impressed...

Thanks AG So it's all riveting stuff about their illnesses then! Though of course only his and Emma's count, I don't believe for one minute that Audrey is fighting fit - unless there's a skip in the vicinity!

What made me laugh about the skip incident though was at first they didn't want to lose their parking space (what do they do when they go out? Put cones down?!) then they didn't want the neighbours to see their rubbish (real reason) so they thought that problem would be solved by putting the skip around the back. Right, because no one can walk around the back to have a nose at their junk can they?

Just like their running! Only running they do is a few steps to catch up with another Chawner to whack them!

I don't believe for one minute that they are running. They might have thought about it for about 5 minutes to try and look good but would ultimately use Emma's ill health as an excuse not to. And of course they have to do things as a 'team' so if one was out they both were!

Roll on the repeats of Big Fat Challenge! Can't wait! Hubby thinks I'm the saddest person walking this planet for even thinking of watching "That bloody family!" yet again

Race For Life costs 15 quid a head to enter, does anyone seriously think they will spend 30 quid on exercise? That's four packets of cigarettes,or two KFC family buckets after all.

One each then!

Me and my son had KFC today as a last day of holiday treat.

I still can't move off the sofa and feel positively chawnered...

Well we won't be having that for at least another year anyway!

Very true. The most energy I've ever seen any of them exerting has either been hitting each other or food I don't believe they are entering. One or two people have asked for details about sponsoring and never got a reply. Surely he'd be bigging them up and wishing them luck like he usually does with something like this. As you say, no doubt Baby Emma being poorly means that they're definitely not running. God forbid a Chawner tried to do something on their own

Mmm, KFC. I rarely eat meat anymore, but sometimes I crave something as terrible as a bargain bucket... And bloody Hell, is that how expensive a packet of fags are these days???
