Do you prefer interviews last?

This is the second series where the interviews have been the last task whereas in previous years the last would see the final two compete in a task similar to tonights "affordable luxury" one.

Do you prefer it as it is now?

Yes, I do prefer it. The final tasks under the old format always felt a bit redundant anyway since the result would be more determined by the candidates performance in the interim period between the show filming and airing.

I prefer the new format. Even before the actual change it always felt to me that the interview was the final task and then there's this add-on at the end. Probably because the candidates I loved were knocked out in the interviews (Tre, Paul Tulip amongst others) and also that they suddenly went back to huge numbers and bringing back fired people.

It was sort of like those TV programmes where the Big Bad is eliminated in the penultimate episode while the finale revisits the things that got them that far.

Not really, because last year it made for a really 'flat' final IMO. However under the new format I suppose it does make sense as ultimately the winner depends on the business plans.

The interviews have always made for better tele than the previous final tasks so I guess it makes sense.

I think it makes more sense this way, and them having a business plan to defend as well as their CV makes the interview session a lot more relevant.
