It certainly seems good news about the battery. Just waiting for the blue ones to be made available before getting one.

I'm waiting for the 'pebble blue' version too since it's been delayed. I have read that brand new stock of the the blue S3 lands in the UK on June 22nd.

cheers for these. presumably a fair few of the stage ones are digitally zoomed in? Certainly loses a lot of image quality versus the wide shots. Also very brave to be that close to the mosh pit with a shiny new toy! As soon as it gets dark it starts getting motion blur, but presumably you were just taking the photos on auto, rather than bumping up the ISO?

Vid wise the audio is better than most mobile vids I've seen (i.e. not unlistenable, though still lots of distortion at the louder bits). Pic still suffers from small dynamic range (i.e. the bright bits are overexposed whilst the dark bits are under) and as soon as the natural light goes its pretty messy.

For me, still a long way off worth getting the phone out rather than enjoying the gig!!

About 15 of the photos on Facebook are from my digital camera sorry i thought i had typed that earlier, i cant tell which are which but all of the you me at six ones are from my GS3 and some of them are photos while i was recording

I used nothing on the phone like ISO and stuff just used zoom on the phone and had auto focus on.

As for getting the phone out, i have the photos and videos equal memories attitude so i do enjoy the gigs but on some occasions if i really like the song i shall get the phone out and record it all

for future reference, in low light, if you go into the camera settings and set ISO to its highest level you'll get less motion blur. (but more noise in the picture, so its always a trade off)

I have a SG3 its 2 weeks old on 3 one plan and it's not getting used. I got it for my 17 year old daughter but within a week she was back on her iPhone4.

3 refuse to take it back so I'm trying to convince a family member to take it off my hands lol. Frigging android is like Linux to many versions, too many incompatibility's.

Were meant to believe the reason IOS is so slick its because it has a lack of features and doesn't compare to the complexity or Android? Pah, Its 2012 the trick is making the complex seem simple exactly what IOS achieves.

What is it incompatible with?

Also it would do everything your daughter would need it to do. I'm calling WUM.

Wow, is your daughter spoilt much? LOL!

Still, if the parents will fork out £34 a month on a phone for a 17 yr old........

I had a look at a "Pebble Blue" S3 in CPW yesterday and it turns out it is actually more like "Pebble Purple". It is an interesting design though

Familiarity is the achievement. There really ain't such a lot there.

we all knew this was coming......

so whats IOS6 lacking ? obviously depends on which phone you have based on IOS6 fragmentation .....

but as a starter for ten .....

SD Card support
USB Host
Widgets
Streetview (based on IOS6 rumours)
Alternative keyboards
Fully functional bluetooth
True multitasking

and thats just a quick list without even mentioning the F***** word

Im genuinely quite surprised at some of the big announcements in the last few releases of IOS where functions have been added that I thought iPhones must have been able to do already ...
