I feel like I make too many threads sorry if I do but it's really bugging me!

I always see on this forum, if you disagree with someone on an artist you're instantly branded either "jealous" or a HATER. What the heck.

I really like Cheryl Cole and her music but i'm not dumb and I know she has lots of work done on her vocals on cd's and she really can't sing live and some Cheryl fans on twitter kick off on me and say i'm not a true fan! It's just like what the hell, i'm just not deluded but I do like her music and her as a person.

And when people say you're jealous of an artist, for example I think Kesha is absolutely awful live as I have seen her but I do like her and somebody said "oh you're just jealous".. I'm not the one trying to establish myself as a singer, how does that make me jealous! haha madness.

Yeah well... Hate and critism (am i saying this right ) are very close and people usually don't see the difference

It happens in everything - music, sport, whatever - people just can't take criticism of people they support and follow them blindly.

I hate this as well. I'd like to think that I can view my favourite artists objectively whilst some FMs, one in particular, only view their favourite artist(s) subjectively.

Critasism should be constructive and everyone has the right to their own views of music, sport celebs, films etc. the difference between that and haters is that on many threads people start putting other peoples views down and then personally attacking others. The same with attacking the topic by making derogatory comments which is not critisizing or expressing a view. It appears many fans of some people are not able to view other artists material without making scathing attacks. That's we're the jealousy part comes in as they appear to become angry at the fact another artist is achieving success. As much I may not like Cheryl Cole it neither makes me happy or sad if she scores No1 and makes millions of pounds. I wouldn't start slagging her off and threatening other people on chat forums who do.
Recently their appears to be a lot of threats made to other users on chat forums for expressing an opinion.
Just to finish off I do now have a lot more respect for Cheryl since she left the XFactor and more for refusing to come back to the UK version.

Nobody wants to debate on here. All people are interested in is sales, and proving their faves are better than anyone elses. You should have seen the flames I've received for just saying things like "I like some of Adele's songs but not others"...it's mental.

How can someone that "Can't sing live" have any fans at all ? Whats the point ? How can anyone truly be into her music if she's no good at it ? This is entirely whats wrong with music these days.Style over substance.

I am of the opinion that if a singer can't sing live then they should not be a singer. Concerts are what being a musician is all about and that is what they should be geared towards.

I listen to quite a lot of pop music but I wouldn't pay to see someone live if they were not 100% live.
