Really bizarre, features some of her early hits and random album tracks (They should have at least put When I Found You onto the tracklist )

Released in August and available from pre-order on Amazon

I noticed this when i was checking out Amazon's release schedule recently
Seems random but then releases like this are out of artists control

Another one. Not a particularly good move as her last singles collection cd bombed in most markets and she has only had one album femme fatale since so it's hardly going to have any new material from the previous two greatest hits.
Saying that Kylie has had only 11studio albums but released 8 compilation soon to be 9 with another released this coming week.
It is rather sad when artists have more compilation albums than actual studio albums.

I hate it when cheap compilations start getting released.

Kylie is a good example of an artist with a lot of different collections out. It can't really be helped since she's been on three different labels in her career and Parlophone have no control over what happens with her PWL and Deconstruction material. What irks me more is that there is a lot of unreleased material from her Deconstruction years but it doesn't get released.

Cyndi Lauper's another artist with a lot of cheap best of collections.

I already have all the songs apart from Don't Hang Up, My Baby and Out From Under. I can't see many people buying this. The tracklisting is very bizarre.

It's hardly the best of Britney.

No, but I doubt they'd be able to charge very much for a blank CD.

I do agree that due to being on three labels they try and cash in with poor quality releases. It's a shame as it devalues the artist.
Madonna,s Celebration was another example of poor quality packaging and lazy compilation especially the DVD.

Devalues. That's the word I was trying to think of. It does devalue an artist in a way. Abba have had countless compilation albums released over the years (another is coming out this year) that it makes you wonder whether another one is really necessarily. The main priority to labels is that a compilation album will sell and Abba's do. A lot of these compilation albums are cheap to put together and wouldn't necessarily need to sell a huge amount to return a profit. Kylie's new best of is an EMI catalogue release and I'm sure they'd be happy with it going gold in the UK.

Madonna's Celebration was a wasted opportunity. That could have been a great career retrospective but it had too many tracks omitted. It should have been three discs.

That's from In The Zone isn't it? Great song. In The Zone is one of my favourite Britney albums, but nothing tops Blackout for me (well, apart from Femme Fatale maybe)

Yeah, I love In the Zone.
I like the fact it has a mix of different styles. Only songs on it I'm not keen on are Shadow and Everytime. Shadow is a bit of a filler track to me. I think Britney should do another album like it again.

I love the performances of those two songs on the Onyx Hotel Tour (which I watched for the first time two nights ago!).

Is the full show on Youtube? Shame the Onyx Hotel was never released on DVD. I would have loved to have seen it in full.

terrible tracklst I hate what's it like to be me,the hook up &
I'm a slave 4 u as for the dull ballads from her second album.
This could have been good if it had some better rare songs.
Maybe i'm so curious, breathe on me,touch of my hand.
Money love and happiness.

I own all of those so might just buy for the collection. She should've called it Cinderalla: The Best Of Britney Spears. Also she has so much unreleased material so why not have some unreleased tracks aswell or b sides. Plus please release the Orignal Doll!
