Yes.

Playlists are way to tight especially with independent broadcasters, and a lot of them have links with major labels so the same few artists and songs are always plugged.

We need another John Peel....but that is not going to happen for a long while yet

Yeah, for example, Capital (and also Choice and Heart) have links with groups such as The Wanted, Cover Drive and Lawson, so they'll always get lots of airplay on that station, no matter what.

On another note, going back to how slow-moving the chart is (which most of us agree is mainly radio's fault), we've actually got a fairly fast-paced chart this week. In the mid-weeks, there's due to be 10 entries into the top 40 from Usher, DJ Fresh/Dizzee Rascal, Nelly Furtado, Dot Rotten, Can You Blow My, Ed Sheeran, Lady Antebellum, Leanne Mitchell, Aiden Grimshaw and Justin Bieber/Ludacris.

YES, I KNOW THESE SONGS ARE AWFUL, but the point is, we've got a quick-moving chart this week. We had 8 entries last week aswell. Hopefully the UK public can keep this up.

It's bound to be awful, but I love that name.
