Leanne's Studio Version "Run To You"...

I don't like it!

You can tell it's a rushed job, because I can hear 95% of the instruments were synthesizers, even the piano is not real. She sounds great voice wise, and it appears they take half a key down from the semi-final/final live version.

edit: sorry, heard one bad version from youtube, the key was the same, not half or full down. Still, I hate synthesizers with a passion. Hope this will not affect her singles sales...

The trouble is with Simon Cowell its plugged everywhere so that's why every winner gets a hit plus if you pay the chart companys the right amount you will always go to the top of the charts even if your crap. I wish Leanne luck but it will be hard for her with no publicity like the Cowell reign god the xfactor winner is played umpteen times on the radio so gets to number 1 on airplay alone. The music industry stinks these days.

Leanne won? Oh god, what a sad outcome for the show. She has a reasonably decent voice but nothing out of the ordinary. She'll end up in cabaret at Butlins.

oh my no, you cannot pay the charts for a high placing..they wouldnt risk they reputation for that not even for cowell.

Leanne's issues are
1.the thing EP looks like a 'studio perormance' is even termed as such despite not being making some think its a live version of her singing on the show. they should just have the name of the song
2. she didnt sing the song at the end of the show so most think there is no winning single, this seems just like a live ep
3.no music video..

Cover - Opinion

The fact that the cover is a complete and utter rubbish doesn't help. "The Voice" sign is imposed awkwardly and the garish silver does not blend in with the background, the picture is not new, making the cover seem boring to any of those who have watched The Voice (the target market), and there is clearly no thinking about target market in the cover, it alienates teenagers with it's dullness and at the same time alienates the older generations with it's tacky writing and Voice logo. People say it's not important, but the cover is a first impression, and this particular one is forgettable.

I'm mystified.
Why would anyone buy a cover of a Whitney song?
I liked Leanne but what exactly could she offer that WH didn't?

The market is people who like the song but not WH? Hm.....

It's doing about as well as I would expect ---- IMO Leanne is a busty belter who is never going to be a seller of many records especialy singles.

I'm sure she will have a steady live career but the charts will never be overly worried by her. ----- Can't see either of the guys doing much either to be honest but who knows

I think BO will be the best seller of the 4 as she is already proving with her EP.

Don't understand the need to rush a single out like that no matter who won, IMO.
