Call me maybe is hanging around like a bad smell! i liked it at first but it is getting on my tits now!
Glad the swedish eurovision entry has done well, it must be the highest charting eurovision song since waterloo by abba! |

It's nice to have such a non-generic song at #1.

Rudimental are amazing. I also like fun., Alex Clare and Rita Ora's songs.
Also, notably, this is the first time that Somebody That I Used to Know has been out of the top 10 since I think February!!!! |
Gina G, Bucks Fizz & Brotherhood of Man all reached number one here with their Eurovision entries after Abba. Unless you meant the highest charting Non-UK Eurovision song?
And even that would be wrong as Nicole's 'A Little Peace' went to number 1. |

The continued success of The Wanted continues to baffle me. Their worst songs (most of them) seem to be those that perform best.

There's been quite a few tracks in the top 10 the past two months I've been a fan of, nice to see it's not letting up! Very happy to see Rihanna, Alex Clare, Rita Ora, Fun and Loreen doing so well. Congrats to Rudimental too, adore his song! John Newman has a lovely voice too, reminds me slightly of Mr Alex Clare and Maverick Sabre in its sound - no bad thing! I hope he features/releases some more songs!
I don't mind Rihanna being held off from the top spot if acts like Rudimental get success instead. Carly Rae Jespen has outstayed her welcome now with that Call Me Maybe song. I don't hate it, but I'm not a major fan of it and it needs to leave the top 10 and give something else a chance. |
