I agree. The Alexandra hate seems to baffle me. I just don't get what she's done that's so annoying to people.

That said, I do think Let It Go is a poor song and didn't deserve to sell well. But I can't understand why Alexandra is hated so much as a person.

She even gets daily death threats online. She has become a national hate figure and I just don't get why she is so hated...I've actually met her and she is such a sweet person so it must very mindless fools jumping on the hate bandwagon. She hadn't committed any crime or done anything wrong yet people act as if she has killed their parents, and frankly it's just terrible.

She's an all round entertainer with one of the best voices in the uk. I've not had chance to listen to her new album yet but it's a travesty for such a talent to receive the awful abuse she does.

If Elephant could still get to no.3, there's hope for her yet. She's lucky to have some of the most loyal and devoting fans - there'll always be a place for her in the industry while she has her Beasties behind her. At the end of the day, I'm going to keep the faith while she's still releasing music - no point looking back once this era has finished and regretting not being positive while there was music of hers to enjoy.

Which other celebrities trend worldwide for hate every time they appear on TV and receive daily death threats? Besides 1D she is one of the most hated UK singers around.

And the thing is, the charts are FULL of artists that are going in and out of prison repeatedly, abuse drugs, attack their girlfriends, are homophobic, assault underage girls, and so on. Yet those artists don't seem to get much hate to be honest.

I was very vocal about rihanna collaborating with chris brown, i think she was stupid for doing it but the difference is you would never see a burke fan saying her song is crap and that is why it isnt being played, they seem unable to take any criticism and come out with the most ludicrous excuses.
Alex comes across as extremely fake and annoying to me but if i liked her song it wouldnt matter what i thought of her i either like it or i dont, i still love all night long and i voted for her in x factor as i thought she was the best.

2. If you would've read the ABAT you would've seen that her fans aren't happy with the songs/ single choices/management/ atyling and such. I love all of her singles, but ican imagine people may find Let It Go repetive. I see their point when Elephant has too much autotune, and as much as i love Start Without You, it's just not a good enough song for Alex. I can take criticism, as long as people back it up with arguments, not just throwing random shade like Mr. OP does.
3. Alex is a national hate figure, have you ever searched Alex's name on Twitter? The abuse she gets is unreap. People tweeting things like "I Hate Alexandra Burke" "Alexandra Burke is a man in disguise" "Wish Alexandra Burke would die". None of her peers get this kinda hate.
4. Alexandra is a great dancer, she just isn't pushed to her full potential. Only a few people in the world can dance a full choreography and sing amazing at the same time, only Beyoncé can do that as far as i know. Alex isn't as good as her ofcourse but there's potential.
5. Let It Go is a catchy summer tune that deserved at least top 10. It's miles ahead of Elephant and is arguably up there eith All Night Long. It didnmt deserve this kinda flop, but unfortenately forces are against her atm

I'm fascinated by the number of threads about Alex and the number of negative comments about her personality. I have always thought she has not made the best use of her talents, especially that voice. She is an assertive woman, is she being punished for this?

The Voice, Tulisa's sex tape, Dannii's secret affair with Cowell, Madonna's sly at Gaga, Frankie going to rehab, Frankie going out of rehab, Mollie setting her eyes on Prince Harry, Lana del Rey's fake lips and manufactured personality, Cheryl's revenge on Cowell perfoming on The Voice and I could go on...Has Alexandra Burke featured anywhere in between? Nope! Has the media been on vendetta against her over the past few months? Nope...The fact is the general public doesn't seem to care about her and the fact she gets hate/threats on twitter doesn't make her national hate figure. The day she'll go walking on the street and start to get abuse and thrown things at her from random people or a media dedicating a page to her as soon as she appears on TV, you might have a point.

Someone at a restaurant with close proximity to her threatened to stab her to death because they found her annoying...that's really normal isn't it?

Not to mention someone threatening to brick her to death at her lipstick launch. Plus her constant worldwide hate trends on Twitter...she's become a national punch bag for people to vent all kinds of frustrations on and it's just not on as far as I'm concerned. People may try and downplay it because they don't like her, but she gets a level of hate far beyond the level that her equivalents get and imo far beyond the level of acceptability.
