Sansui
Does anyone have any experience of/opinions on this brand of audio equipment. I came across it the other day and it does appear to be a premium price range.

Years ago,I had a matching valve Sansui amplifier and tuner for my hifi,it was expensive but excellent quality.I would say their gear is on a par with Technics. Top range domestic gear.

Anyone out there had both a Bose and a Sansui and, if so, which proved to be of a superior performance? I think Bose only do one model with a DAB radio, which is why I have never bought this brand yet and, with analogue on the way out, paying over £500 for a Bose would be a waste of money. I think these days, buying a cd system for 1/2 a grand is not top of most people's shopping list as they either listen to music via an mp3 player/ipod dock, or through their computer.

Sansui was always a middling sort of manufacturer, I can't say I've seen or heard of any for years now - it may well just be a badge, like so many old names now
