Sometimes I crave a bacon roll, or a plate of sausage, scrambled egg, bacon, potato scone and beans.

I am astonished at the number of places that stop serving breakfasts so early.

Every cafe, and I include KFC in this, must assume that we are all high flying executives who get up at 6am, nip in on the way to work, which will be flexi time.

If you aren't working, its nice to have a few hours longer in bed. If you work shifts, you may be working 7 - 10am or that. Infact, when I work a 7 - 11am shift I'm ready for a bacon roll at the end of it.

The KFC Krushem smoothie should certainly be available all day, it seems to be the only remotely healthy thing on the menu.

Justice for breakfasts! (Which are also great lunches)

Haven't you got a decent cafe near you? There are 3 or 4 within walking distance of me that serve breakfast until 1 or 2 in the afternoon.

Those all day breakfasts are a con. They only last 15 minutes and when you ask for more they make you pay.

Most greasy spoon cafs around here serve an all day breakfast. It's probably their main income.

Also chain pubs such as Wetherspoons and Yates offer all day breakfasts/mixed grills.

I think its because its the "norm" as such that breakfasts are served up to 11 and then people tend to be thinking about lunch rather than breakfast. McDonalds is the one that always gets me who is going to want a Big Mac at 10 in the morning bleugh I like my maccies but that is too much.

Subway are one of the slightly better ones as they do breakfast until 11. A few of the cafes local to me do things like bacon rolls etc all day anyway as well as offering things like the all day breakfasts so its maybe just finding somewhere like that local to you.

I am surprised that McDonalds don't do their breakfasts all day. They're extremely popular.

Costs. They would have to have somewhere to put the breakfast items plus more cooks to cook all the different items.

There's something about having fried chicken for breakfast that does not sit right with me.

Many years ago I went to Sainsbury's cafe at about 1pm and asked for the All Day Breakfast that was on the menu. I was told they only do that until 1100/1130 and I would have to have the All Day Brunch instead which was the same meal except I got chips instead of hash browns.

By what definition can that be classed as all day?

I aim that question at the cafe in question rather than yourself by the way.

But yeah, I definitely wish more places offered brunch/elevenses. I know the greasy spoon usually will, but sometimes I want something a little more upmarket..

I only have KFC hung over and have had a tower box meal at 11am. But then I also like to have a Mcds breakfast and I am normally up early to get it.

OP - maybe you are drunk and dont' know where you are but KFC don't have a breakfast menu.

Most pubs / cafe will serve breakfast all day as do most supermarket cafes (actually the one I had in tesco a few weeks ago in the afternoon wasn't that bad)
