Amazing chart archive website

Every top 40 hit, every top 40 album - also includes lower chart entries (75 - 100), as well as single and album covers. The actual covers of the records/cds (not covers as in remakes of old songs!).

http://chartarchive.org/

Important - please wait until each page is fully loaded before clicking a link or typing in search box otherwise it can get stuck and not update!

I prefer www.chartstats.com you can see full chart runs of singles/albums very easily complete with line graphs of the songs first 11 weeks on the top 40.

That link has gone to the same site I mentioned!

Different web address - same site.

Amazing site. Must have taken forever to get all that data.

I use that quite often. It really is a great reference site. I have wondered whether there's something similar for the Billboard charts in the US.

You could spend hours on that site. You can look at old songs and see how they charted each week. So much information.

www.chartstats.com has become www.chartarchive.com, because it's more fitting being an enormous archive of present and past chart statistics, whereas it earlier name suggested only present information was stored on there.

But, it is dodgy to use the Site for long Charting Albums.

'Gold' by ABBA, is on 649 Top 100 Weeks. The Chart Site gives
it 505 Top 100 weeks - 144 Weeks too few. (Over 2.5 Years).

'Greatest Hits' by Queen, is on 635 Top 100 Weeks. The Site
gives it 496 Weeks - 139 Weeks too few. (Over 2.5 Years missing).

Unfortunately Wikipedia gets many of its Album Weeks Totals
from the Site, & so Wikipedia ends up with the missing Weeks, too.
