E3 2012 Live:- Discussion Thread

Hey everyone!

I've decided to launch an E3 discussion thread, the place where to comment and post reactions during the E3 presentation.
There are other threads on the forum regarding to what people are hoping Nintendo will deliver, but there isn't a dedicated thread solely for the presentation itself.

The E3 Presentation will begin at 5pm UK time on Tuesday 5th June.
To watch the presentation, just visit E3.Nintendo.com.

Enjoy!

Can't believe that it has come round again for another year, it seems that it was just a year ago when we saw Skyward Sword announced for the first time. Time is just flying by now!

Nintendo will steal the show just as they did in 2010. MS conference was ok, better than last year but that's not saying much. Still, there's some great games to be looking forward to this year for everyone involved. 2012 looks to be even better than last year!

Kind of glad no next gen system was announced for Xbox as I'm gonna be very happy with Wii U and 360 combo for the next year or two.

Halo 4 looked incredible considering the hardware it's running on imo. They should of shown more Forza Horizon and Gears Judgement. I liked MS conference overall, Resi 6, Splinter Cell and Tomb Raider were nice too. Web Browser not too shabby.

Unlike MS and Sony, Nintendo will unashamedly be all about the games though.

It's games I want to see. Along with hopefully a release date and price for the Wii U.

I think the Wii U will do well, hopefully. I am one of those that wasn't impressed by the Wii but I coming around to the Wii U.

The new Rayman shown yesterday at Ubisofts presser looked really good. I love how the pad worked with it.

Unfortunately Nintendo stated the release date and price is not going to be confirmed during their press conference.

Ahh well, still gonna be a great presser. Can't be any worse than Sony and Microsoft.

I dont get that though if your moveing your character with the touch pad wont you just spend your time looking at the pad and not at the tv screen

If I was playing that I would need to see where my fingers are guiding rayman so how does that work? whats the point of even having the TV on

also is rayman legends out for PS3?

No it is a Wii U exclusive so Ubisoft said.

It wasn't exactly clear from the demo on stage what was going on on the pad and screen at the same time. I imagine different levels will need different amounts of use of the pad screen.

A few people have said £250 to me but Nintendo haven't said anything.

I can't personally see it being anymore than £299.

Yeah, agreed. £250 sounds reasonable, and that's probably the most I could afford at launch. Nintendo wouldn't sell it if it was more than £300.
If anything, they'd sell the console and Wii U gamepad on it's own, and sell other acessories seperatley to keep overall cost down.

15 mins to go peeps!

The website link is in the first post.

I wonder how their going to open the presentation...
Last year was the jaw-dropping performance for Zelda's 25th Anniversery.

Here's a fan made trailer for Majora's Mask 3DS.
I hope after the hardwork Project Moonfall have spent on this, Nintendo deliever with a 3DS edition of the game

I'm not into games like halo and i don't like racing games. Have to say I've never liked tomb raider games but that demo looked brilliant. South Park was the only thing they showed that i will definitely get.

The conference was a shambles though, all about media that has f*** all to do with games and kinect shite.

We'll see 23 Wii U Titles today.
That is a very big challenge.

£250 is not bad for a new console, how much was the original Wii at release.
