Could've been better the concert... we gave the world the Beatles, Stones, Who, Clash, Pistols, Oasis, Pink Floyd, Led Zep and Radiohead.

Think it was a contact list out of Barlows phone book really.

Oh yeaaah forgot about her, she looked so uncomfortable - which made Gary look nervous.

A safe but dull lineup.

robbie was an embrassment attention seeking as usual.
Shouted his way through let me enterain you a shame since
mack the knife sounded really good.
Cheryl was awful someone needs to stop her now at least victoria beckham had the sense to go into fashion.
Best acts were kylie,stevie wonder,tom jones,paul mccartney.
Madness & Jessie J though she should have sung price tag.
Thought the last hour was good rest rubbish the golden jubilee concert was much better.
Anyone remember they had bryan adams, corrs, will young.
Just seemed very rushed compared to that show.

How on earth did JLS make it or Cheryl Cole but no slot was there for Leona or Adele? Everyone's vocals sucked other than Ed Sheeran. The oldies were a bit tired/shouty.

Tom Jones sounded decent but definitely not as he was 2 years ago. Shorter of breath.

Enjoyed Tom Jones, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. The virtuoso pianist was great as well.

However, I think the concert will in many ways be remembered for who wasn't there. The following acts are all British, all still active, and all have sold at least 80 million albums each (most over 100 million):

Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
The Who
The Rolling Stones
Depeche Mode
Queen

That isn't even starting to mention the individual contributions that could have been offered by musical legends like Jimmy Page and Roger Waters.

Definitely not enough rock on the show considering the UKs rich history in the genre.

Absolutley. I was gobsmacked. It was one of the highlights of the concert for me. She sung Slave to The Rhythm perfectly.

Correct. The country seems to be very dismissive towards our greatest artists... but hey, why not just hand a slot to Will.i.am?

It's funny how even at the age of 64 and Hula Hooping on stage, she still outsang Cheryl Cole! Loved her

Where was Adele? The who? Bowie? The stones? Instead we get JLS, cheryl cole. and Robbie williams, who tried his best to be freddie mercury but miserably failed and ended up looking like a prat lol. Ed sheeran was good though.

And cheryl cole....why is she in the music industry?

I thought that too. She's not great as a solo singer.

Coincidentally, all friends of Gary Barlow... He did the same with the BBCs Children In Need. I just wish he'd get the best acts the country has ever produced on it.

I don't really like any of them acts. As I've said before Cheryl Cole's solo music is dreadful (although she was tolerable in Girls Aloud, who produced some pretty good pop songs). Tuneless karaoke music for kids with no taste. Same goes for JLS. And don't get me started on Robbie Williams. I never liked him. I will admit Ed Sheeran was a bit boring. I watched something on Youtube while he was on. I wished they'd had The Saturdays on there.
