It is. Although it will not be officially confirmed by BARB as the HD figures will be factored in with BBC One (SD).

Top 5 HD:

3.74m - Euro 2012: England v Italy* - BBC One HD
2.88m - The Diamond Jubilee Concert* - BBC One HD
2.51m - Euro 2012: England v Ukraine* - ITV1 HD
2.45m - The Royal Wedding* - BBC One HD
2.32m - Euro 2012: England v Sweden* - BBC One HD

* full slot overnight average.

Is it a spoiler if ITV are gonna be shouting from the rooftops about it for the next 6 weeks in an attempt to draw a rating for this crappy show?

Exactly, I can't see many people rushing to tune in when we all know the result! Where's the tension in that?

I don't think there's any less Wimbledon coverage this year than before. Usually Glastonbury would be this weekend so they'd be going off for that anyway (I know you could say since there isn't they could carry on, but seemingly the Beeb want to offer an alternative to tennis on two channels) and in addition the coverage on BBC1 on Saturday goes on until after six which is longer than would usually be the case.

- BBC2's Line of Duty won the 9pm slot last night with 3.35m (14.7%) inc HD.

- C4's Gordon Behind Bars also started strongly with 2.64m (1.6%) and another 321k on C4+1.

- ITV1's Strictly Kosher went down to 2.36m (10.38%)

- Geordie Shore: Chaos In Cancun got an impressive 427K for MTV last night, its best ever overnight audience.

Still low numbers watching channels 1 to 5 at 9 o'clock last night. Can't say I blame them.

3.35m won the slot?! Ouch, that's low. Great ratings for both BBC Two and Channel 4 last night.

Yeah, excellent rating for BBC Two at 9pm yesterday - that's a better start than what most dramas in that slot for BBC2 have done. Gordon Behind Bars was quite good so I think it'll remain steady for the rest of the series or maybe even go up slightly. As for BBC1, Turn Back Time's first series averaged around 5m a couple of years ago so I'm a little surprised that didn't do better than low 3's. Strictly Kosher shed about a 1/3 of its audience which is what seems to happen to a lot of ITV1 shows when they're airing on Tuesdays.

Well deserved ratings for Line of Duty.

BBC1's Turn Back Time: The Family got 3.2m at 9pm.

Gordon Behind Bars peaked with 3.7m (inc +1), bodes well for it next week if that peak was towards the end of transmission.

A few more ratings from Attentional:

Love Your Garden: 3.1m (14.3%) , +1: 100k
The Chase: 2.77m (inc +1)
Wimbledon 2012 (BBC2, 17.50): 2.56m

Apart from live programmes and one-off documentaries about the Royals, it'd been a while since ITV1 last got 3m+ in that 8pm slot. Will be interesting to see if it can remain stable for the rest of the 6-part series or if it falls down to usual 8pm levels.

Not many watching TV at 9pm. Well done for GS getting its highest overnight ever.

Surprised Gordon did that well. The Guardian called it a "depressing, cynical, meretricious show."

Excellent numbers for it. Good job he just signed a new contract at C4. For a while there his popularity seemed to be on the wane but it looks like it was just the shows that were the problem.

Last night there was a lot of choice at 9pm on the 1st four channels. Nice for BBC2 to get a rare ratings victory, I watched GR Behind Bars & SK on +1.

Yes there were both cliche filled, but Gordon did at least try to motivate a self-pitying bunch of failures. Maybe he ought be a new TXF judge..

Line of Duty did very well and Gordon Behind Bars did much better than I expected. I thought his popularity was starting to go down...obviously not! Geordie Shore: Chaos In Cancun did very well scoring its best overnight ever! If it was on ITV2 it would probably be getting at least 1m viewers, but 427k on MTV is a very good figure.

Surely The Guardian not liking it is a good thing?

Great rating for it - that's Ramsay's highest in over 3 years. Higher than anything Oliver's done for ages too. Hopefully it'll hold steady over the run. Great for Line of Duty but surprisingly poor for Turn Back Time, whilst Strictly Kosher also bombed, but that isn't surprising. Love Your Garden actually did alright for that slot.

Think what ratings they'd get if they removed the DOGs bespoiling their HD channels....

No wonder people stick with SD.

Brilliant for Line of Duty. Superb drama. Should have been on BBC1
