Why has BB been so low recently? It's a bit worrying, does anyone think it's because they have no removed a certain HM after some atrocious actions? It's beyond saving, after a brilliant start, this week has been unbearable the way BB has no authority anymore.

I saw the first week and have dipped in on one or two occassions to see what is happening, but apart one good task(the no laughing one), the show has become tedious and I really think it should be rested for ten years.

I really think that from Day 1 until last Friday it was compelling viewing and people agreed. After Benedict left (on Friday), it made a group outnumber another MASSIVELY and it's gotten nasty. The ratings have only dropped since after that eviction. I think people are finding it very uncomfortable viewing. Mark my words, ratings will increase when a few of the nasty group are knocked out because right now it seems that BB is defending the nasty group to spread their venom to nicer HMs and it's very uncomfortable.

Yep, Lifers was a repeat of the episode shown the night before. It had 1.62m (inc +1)

Well with a bloke name Titmarsh getting down and dirty in a ladies garden was bound to be a hit on ITV?

Low for BB, but it will time shift well and end up with 1.7m+ so it still beats BB12, but they need to sort it out (the authority).

Wow low for Big Brother...and still so early in the series

I have to say, the last few days haven't been enjoyable to watch.

Like I said, when officials are added in, it will balance everything else up. It has been timeshifting a lot. It's just a shame the overnights are not up to the best.

Speaking of officials, I see that the week released this week all excludes +1, anyone have info on +1 as I see the +1 will make a difference and one episode will go past 2m. BARB has not Ch5+1 update.

Salv, maybe some people just been bored this series by all the nastiness in BB? Still 7 weeks to go, do you think it will drop below 1million near tthe middle or end of series?

BB will settle now between 1.3 - 1.5m, no matter what controversy there is. I don't know what else there is to discuss about the BB ratings - they are staying pretty consistent which Channel 5 will be pleased about.

Lifers did really well for its repeat. I caught it last night and it was a brilliant show. Was it just a one off? I think Channel 4 should make it into a six part documentary series. Many people have criticised Channel 4 on here in the past, but I really do think it's strengths has been its strong documentaries - Bouncers was also brilliant, as is 24 hours in A+E and One Born Every Minute. Gordon Ramsey's new show got off to a great start. I notice that C4 also have some dramas coming up - next week, it's the 'Coming Up' series of dramas, showcasing the latest new writing and directing talent and I also read in a magazine that they've got a three part drama coming up about three different characters living in London and how their lives intertwine. All this looks really promising.

Line of Duty did great for BBC2. Usually its dramas rate worse than that if I recall? I'll have to catch up on BBC iPlayer.

Great night for Channel 4 then, and ITV1 did fairly well it has to be said with Love Your Garden performing solidly at 20:00.

I think that this could be the slump right now. This time next week could see a rise if they put them all up for eviction. I reckon it will rise, but this week has been going through a rough patch for a number of reasons. I don't think it will drop below 1m, I think it could increase to 1.5-1.6m in around 3 weeks time actually. I somehow think this week is the lowest it will be.

I partly blame the BigBrother voters for its ratings drops this series. The voters get rid of the big characters and keep the boring ones in.

Silly comment. A small DOG on a 50 inch tv versus a full screen of blurry picture - I know which one I'd watch.

What they really need to do is to switch BBC1 HD from 143 to 101 and ITV1 HD from 178 to 103 to see the ratings soar. Of course they cant do this with trhe regional variations so it aint going to happen soon.

I think it was always going to take a bit of time to recover from Sunday's football affected low. However given how recent events in the house were mismanaged I think people may have tuned out because of that so I wouldn't be surprised if this is the new default audience now.

I did comment a week or two ago that there was not enough likeable housemates this series. That's been the chief problem for me and I'm sure other viewers too.

MTV has its bashers on here (for both its music and entertainment channels) but it's on a high at the moment and also won the award for Best Entertainment Channel at the Broadcast awards last week.

BBC HD took the DOG off dramas for about a year and their ratings were still piss poor.

Also, many think that BBC One HD replaced BBC HD.

There have been numerous instances where HD coverage has moved from BBC One HD to BBC HD (golf, F1, Wimbledon) where social media is full of people moaning about taking it them off HD.

Last year's Strictly 3D simulcast also caused great confusion, as people thought the 3D coverage promoted on the BBC HD channel meant BBC One HD and not BBC HD.

How disappointing to learn that mine is 3 inches smaller than George's. I feel so inadequate....

After ITV's gardening success (if 3.1m can be called such), what's the betting that the Flopzone becomes Cropzone?

Great rating for Line of Duty, hopefully will hold up.

On Big Brother - they've been losing viewers to the Football and other things; this breaks up its viewers and means their not 100% catching up with things and following the story line.

I haven't been watching so there might be more to it, but its time to drop the weekend shows so they 'relaunch' with a 90 minute special every Monday. Keeps the show fresh and allows a 'recap' as well.

Holby on 4.8M is hardly invincible. Of course the footie's back on Tuesdays real soon anyway. Only 3 more live games for the BBC til 2014

Killers Behind Bars did well for C5. I'm sure some comments i seen on here and other places were not keen on it but i watched last week repeat and thought it was quite good, it doesn't really solve anything but is good in explaining past cases and what ifs - if you like that thing.
