Me last night:

I want to predict a peak, but I'll resist the urge. Could be 13m. Could be 17m. Who knows.
Dammit, 90k outside my range! Absolutely superb peak though. Fantastic.

A peak of 17.09m (65.71%) watched the finale of the Diamond Jubilee Concert.

Wow, massive peak.
Huge. I think we all knew it was going to be pretty massive but the share is enormous.

I thought it'd do better than the 2002 concert. Deserved it too and dare I say that it won back some positive comments about the BBC's Jubilee coverage after the pageant.

Coronation Street Overnights: 5.6m [19:30] and then 5.2m for [20:30] (inc+1)

Source: Jenny Cummins

Those are full-slot averages, the tape-checked numbers (even exc +1) might be a little bit higher.

The Royal Family are much more popular now than they were in 2002 and the figures show that.

Fantastic average there!

That's very respectable given the concert, will probably time shift to around 6 million.

DS will be reporting full slot though, won't they as it's Bank Holiday?

Nevertheless, looks like it may just be an all-time low. Unsurprisingly, obviously.

Incredible... I see the average was good to - was waiting for the punchline when I saw that "but 12m switched off halfway through Cheryl"....

Since last year, Attentional have been tape-checking Bank Holiday ratings as well.

Looks like ITV4 beat Five in all day share yesterday. Suggests the Murray match did reasonably well
