That is odd - but what is also odd is that they made This Week clash with the end of Question Time tonight, when they must have a large crossover audience, and QT provides a nice lead-in to TW normally. They should have stuck on a 15-minute Coast filler or something at 11.20 on BBC2, to keep the junctions in line.

While I still watch and like Family Guy, American Dad seems more realistic, despite having an alien in it,

We can but hope!

I think those ratings will eventually be topped.

The US has a multi-channel environment too and this year's Superbowl became the most watched programme of all time, which it has also done for 2 consecutive years before.

When our population reaches 70-80m, one event will eventually come along that will hit over half the population. It might even happen before then depending what it is.

great episode of Mock The Week tonight, dont know if England was playing tonight*, but I hope it got a good rating, the show has proven it does not need Frankie Boyle, was great seeing the guests and regulars working so well together tonight.

* one of the good things about working in an office (other than me, all female) is that there is no sports talk.

Colin Murray confirmed on MOTD that the Ireland dead rubber match will air on BBC3 on Monday. Should still give BBC3 a large audience.

2 showings. The Main showing + the Omnibus on Sunday.

Why have we had no ITV1 News at Ten ratings recently? - have they been boosted by Euro 2012?

You could air the return of Princess Diana on ITV1 and viewers would still switch to BBC1 for the News at Ten.

Well it follows the England match on Tuesday, I would imagine it will get 4-5m that evening, unless there's a mass switch off..

Dallas did very well for TNT, will be interesting how it does for Channel 5 in September, I'm expecting 3m+ but it could go higher.

It would be interesting to see the RTE ratings for the football last night if anyone has access to them later

Still a really good peak for the Ireland game, but it obviously would have been higher had the Irish team decided to, you know, actually show up.

Super peak for Italy vs Croatia.

Brilliant for the matches, and the 2nd highest BB HL show rating which is a good sign!

Cheers. Great to see EP do well. I think last night's was one of the most moving films they have ever done.

Poor for Marco. Total waste of the channel's resources promoting it as much as they have. Having said that, it's not a bad show and may pick up a bit next week now the trials are over and the competition proper starts.

Are these match averages or coverage averages?

If the former, I thought the Ireland match might have rated better, in truth.

Yea this about Marco.
I'm glad BB is holding up well, the ratings would be higher tho if they did Billboards like for CBB

Might mean a very low audience for Emmerdale, then, earlier than usual and not having been on for nearly a week, and not getting much of a lead-in either. They'd have been better off putting that on Wednesday.
