The fact is only 1.5 million people watch BB. Papers like The Sun would much rather talk about Simon Cowell, as his shows attract 10 million viewers. To most people BB has had its day.
Actually the rot set in when the tabloids and the celeb mags started treating it as if it was the only show in town and BB started believing its own hype. It steadily became more trashy and unbelievable and ratings started to fall. If it wasn't for the three year deal with Endemol, I'm sure Channel 4 would have cancelled BB after Shilpagate.
