sue how did you get used to nite shift when you first started.Sons done 7 nites straight and he looks knackered

The first couple of weeks I never thought I would last, I was exhausted, but I found once my body clock had got use to it I felt much better. I also found that not sleeping all day helped, its like I get home most days by six and normally I get up by 2, obv its different for me as I like to get up and do my h/w etc. He will get use to it bless him. He is lucky to get 3 days off tracy, I work 6 and only get one day off.x

he did overtime thinking he was smart
think its ment to be 4 days on 3 off ,not quite sure,it varies.so what do you do on your nite off ,catchup with sleep or try and go to bed as late as possible.dont know whats best.im terrified he'll fall asleep behind the wheel coming home

I normally just chill out tbh unless Im going anywhere, because it goes so quick you wake up sun morning and its back to work sun night. We keep on at them to get 2 nights off but there not interested. He will be ok driving home, I find Im more alert on then way home even though your body is telling you its tired, if that makes sense.x

you've made me feel abit better about the driving home
i thought theyre was some sort of rules about working nights,you should be entitled to 2 days off thats ridiculous.
