All Sudbury freeview is breaking up here.
Not tried London but they are having trouble with the main TV.

Anything from France or Belgium at your location? I am guessing they might be the source of the Sudbury break up.

I'm getting a pirate on 89.4 with lots of mentions of London locations. Last night there was a voiceover that kept saying what sounded like "CallLondon.com" - I've been to that site and it's just a hotel directory!

Anybody know what this is?

Unknown FM have used that frequency in the past. It's not listed as active at the moment though.

Probably it was "KoolLondon.com". If Kool London is going out on 89.4 it's almost certainly a mistake, though, I shouldn't think they're unhappy with their long-term channel (94.6) which is one of the better pirate frequencies in London anyway.

There are a few possibilities:

1) Return of Unknown, accidentally relaying Kool due to link problems - unlikely I think, the TX sites are many miles apart, and there have been rumours Unknown have closed
2) New London-based station, accidentally / on purpose relaying Kool, either "bought" the channel from Unknown (i.e. paid their protection money) or just started up having heard the rumours
3) Someone closer to you relaying Kool FM locally

94.6 has been off the air for sometime, but there is a carrier with white noise running on the frequency at present, so it looks like Kool plan a return.

I think this is most likely, as I've been hearing it pretty consistently for the last 2 days, when yesterday I wasn't really getting any actual atmospherics.

A few weak signals from the continent today.

I had the same around 1935 local time. Some fairly clear Italian stations upto 91Mhz, some in stereo but no RDS. I think the opening only lasted about 5 mins.

I noticed a small opening to Spain at lunch time but it was only for a few minutes and no stations were strong enough to produce RDS.

At this moment - "TSF" from Lisbon on 89.5. Mostly weak but occasionally coming up to stereo, and for a few seconds to give 'T S F' on the RDS.

A good opening earlier this evening. Main countries heard were mentioned above in my earlier post but around 6.30 pm local the band also opened up to central Europe & the Balkans with Austria, Slovenia and Serbia identified. Oddly there were no other logs from this area around this time on FMLIST. After this Italy took over although Tunisia, Algeria and Malta (Radju Malta on 93.7) were also heard.

Hopefully more tomorrow and over the Bank Holiday weekend!

I'm not surprised, Wave Radio broadcasts from the tower on 96.5, so it would probably be flattening the front end of your radio even though it only runs 400 watts.

Most likely it was Chaine 3 from Algeria, since it was well received in the afternoon when I was doing some scanning.
Today the Es were so & so again, like the past 2 days. I think that the time of proper openings will be in June.
