Assuming it's Radio Italia Solo Musica Italiana, then it's a possibility of Camaiore near Viareggio, just north of Pisa or Ercolano-Vesuvio near Naples.

Earlier today around late afternoon, a friend of mine in Tonbridge, West Kent was also receiving North Africa on 87.6 followed by Italy on 87.5. I had North Africa quite weak here in Teesside also.

Nice strong lift to Holland this morning, lots of Dutch stations coming through, had all RDSing about 30 minutes ago!

Yes the Neds are finally RDSing and some Germans coming through most notably on 105.7.

105.7 is very likely Hitradio Antenne from Steinkimmen in Niedersachsen. Too bad this tropo isn't making it down south.

The E-skip has gone quiet today as well.

Thanks. It's still there quite stable above the noise. Alot of the other signals though are strong one minute and dissapear the next. Not sure if this will build nicely for this evening.

I just had some French stations on 96.1 and 102.0 but no ID. I am now tuned into Lincs FM 102.2.

I am ready for the DX, which probably won't come now

When pointed North I can hear TFM 96.6 on the Horizontal elements but not on the Vertical, but I can also hear Yorkshire Coast 102.4 on the Vertical but nothing on the Horizontal.

Cool, TFM is my local station but it's basically Metro from Newcastle now. From Grimsby are you able to get any Dutch stations at all? When I was in Grimsby I just tuned into Compass FM 96.4 and I found it to be a decent station.

Yes, it's quite strong here but there is some interference from Compass, I personally don't like Compass so don't listen much!

I can get a few Dutch stations i.e 538 on 102.7 and Q Music 100.7 coming in and out of the noise, but you have to "sit" on the frequency of the station to hear it come in and fade out, I get short strong from aircraft every now and then but when there is a good lift on they come booming in. Any Dutch stations where you are Jack?

Ah, I did look for Dutch stations when I was in Grimsby, but got nothing. I did actually check 102.7 when I was there but only got Heart (Peterborough). Q-Music is a good station.

I can't get any Dutch stations here unfortunately. The longest distance ones I can receive is BBC Gaidheal 104.2 from Meldrum near Aberdeen and Lincs FM 102.2 Belmont/Heart (Peterborough) 102.7. I can also sometimes hear France Info on 105.2.

I listen to Compass online and I don't live too far from Grimsby. Can't get it on FM, it must be one of the smallest stations around. I listen to the Sunday Collection show with the Golden oldies.

I just had Radju Malta on 93.7 here a few minutes ago, in parallel with the web stream. It sounded like an OM reading out things from the local paper or something similar. Difficult to tell as I don't speak Maltese

Nothing here near Bristol but I may have missed it. I saw weak band1 tv pictures from Hungary and Ukrain during the afternoon.

I woke up this morning with my clock radio to a Spanish station instead of Radio 4! The RDS said it was RNE 3 on 94.5. Tuning up and down the scale brought in countless Spanish stations mostly fading in and out very quickly. The usual Irish stations were there too but only enhanced a little.

Oh Lincs FM 102.2 that does not half get around I receive it all the time on a vertical dipole here in the northwest at my location between Wigan and and St helens.

I have heard it can be received as far down as Milton Keynes. I can sometimes get it with RDS here in horizontal.

No atmospherics here recently.

I was getting Lincs FM last night, as well as other short-range things like Town 102 and BBC locals/nationals. One Belgian station on 100.1 - can't remember what this is!
