Nothing from Western Europe here in Devon, but all the usual Irish stations are coming over strong from Mt Leinster, Kippure and Mullaganish.
A lot from County Cork including . . .
C103 - 103.3 & Red FM - 104.5 from Nowen Hill.

A new one for me is East Coast Radio - 102.4 - West Wicklow

I can't get DAB from here, but it might be fun to try today.

Cheers... In hoping to hear a few more mux's as I'm interested to hear what dab+ sounds like on my new incar dab set.. Fingers crossed, sounds like fm in the south is getting badly hit..
Are the frequencies used for dab still used for tv anywhere in Europe?

Loads of Dutch stations this morning, no DAB though - I tried repeatedly but no luck. That's an ambition of mine I've yet to fulfill.

Some Dutch ones I've never got before so pleased with that. A couple of Germans on 87.6 and 107.7.

I've put this on another thread in the correct section but I also got TF1, FR2 and M6 (all HD) on channel 31 on Freeview. That's a first for me too. Very pleased with that too.

Conditions seem to have dropped right off now.

I can't normally get DAB here, but I can just about get 12B and 11D from Huntshaw Cross this morning. Both at 'bubbling' levels though.

Interestingly 12B came through slightly stronger, although it is supposed to be the weaker of the 2 signals being broadcast.

From the Netherlands:
Radio 2,
Radio 3,
Slam FM
538
Q Music
Radio Decibel
Radio Veronica (the weakest)

I also got some German stations.

Reception affected:
Radio Leeds on 92.4, 95.3 and 102.7 (can't get 103.9 FM anyway.
The Pulse on 97.5 and 102.5,
Capital on 105.6
Branch FM
Radio 1 on 98.9.
Radio Sheffield on 104.1.

Everything faded after 10 AM. During the night, most of the stations from Germany faded slightly and the stations from the Netherlands strengthened.

All this achieved on normal radios without any extra enhancements.

Just loads and loads of Dutch stations in particular on the FM too many to list really but also DAB being dragged in from Holland here in N.E.Lincs.
Just been out and about in the car Radio Veronica (103.2), 100%NL and many many more coming in in hiss free crystal clear stereo on FM. Amazing also some DAB stuff coming in including the local Leeds MUX not usually receivable here but also Dutch Publieke Omroep MUX with Radios 1,2,4,6, 3FM & Radio5 Nostalgia.

Hi, I was searching through the FM radio in my part of the Doncaster area at about 10 this morning and I don't have any extra Ariel and I got stations from the South East. BBC Kent and BBC Norfolk was there. Heart Kent on 96.4 was also there. I got Yorkshire Coast Radio on 96.2. BBC Leicester and Derby came through quite clear. It seems to have returned to normal now, I will try again later on this evening.

Probably worth trying again later the FM band is still full of Dutch stations.

What else is coming over on there? Is it Dutch?

I wonder if this temporary loss of our stations in some areas make the advertisers re-conciser using radio?

I know its out of anyone's control and happens infrequently, but if I were an advertiser I'd be stroking my goatee beard thinking "hmm... money not well spent today then!"

Joe FM from Belgium on 104.1 very strong in Norwich - good stereo and RDS ident.

Try 102.1 Studio Brussel is strong there and and has just knocked out 538. Some Germans are beginning to RDS again such as NDR2.

I think that a complete loss of a station for more than a short time is such a rare event that I doubt it is even considered, except by the engineers.

Got that one here too!

Last night Kiss 106.4 (the Norwich freq was audible too but couldn't properly get it because of Gem 106), Minster FM, BBC York (both with RDS), Norwich 99.9 (a tad weak), Radio Veronica on 103.0 FM (went to bed listening to that. They play some good music!), Lincs FM, BBC Humberside, BBC Lincolnshire (with RDS), Heart (Gloucestershire? It was on 102.4) all came in. Also Real Radio Yorkshire on 106.2, Capital 105.8, BBC Essex 103.5 (only on upstairs radio), Heart 103.3 Milton Keynes (weak), Hallam FM 103.4 and what I think was BBC Radio Norfolk on 95.1.

It was insane! Does anybody know where the transmitter for Radio Veronica on 103 is? I've recieved that transmitter before in past atmospherics and I'm sure it was on 103.2 FM when near the coast.

Still normal here. I would have loved to receive Yorkshire Coast Radio, but Radio Aire is too strong. However, I think I may have got a very week Radio York on 95.5 during the late show. Usually I can only receive it on 103.7 and 104.3.

I forgot to mention the English stations I received. I don't usually bother observing the national stations, but I notice Classic FM still has regionalised ad breaks. I received Radio Newcastle on 95.4 and Radio Norfolk on 95.6 and 104.4. I'm sure Kiss would have been receivable on a better radio on 106.4. Though I can always get Radio Lincolnshire and Lincs FM, their signals were stronger than usual, and Lincs FM comfortably survived all the foreign stations. Viking FM was affected by 3FM earlier this morning.

Veronica is also on 103.2 as well as 103.0 - they are coming in here on both frequencies.

Car DAB wouldn't even receive BBC DAB this morning - it was swapping to FM.Touch FM was not coming through at all on 102.4

Roberts could pick up Northampton,Oxford,Essex and Sheffield DAB plus some German names (although no audio) !!

UK DAB sets probably won't give audio (on most sets anyway) even if they're receiving the German multiplexes as the Germans use DAB+ with HE-AAC audio instead of MP2. still national enhancement here in Bristol but not much else of note!

I found the 103.2 signal was stronger and wiped out Sunrise Radio. I don't know whether Hallam FM being on 102.9 had any impact on which signal was the strongest. Q Music was firstly stronger on 100.1, but then very strong on 100.7 and very weak on 100.1.
