It's completely crazy here with the band full of German stations in the HR, BR, and SWR regions. The highlight has been the following:

87.8 B5 Aktuell Untersberg [AUT] (yes, Austria) 100 watts

Absolutely insane conditions!

A few domestics here breaking through...
Southend Radio 105.1, KMFM on 107.2 and 107.9.
Continentally, nothing too special
France Info on 105.2
A German speech station on 106.3 - unknown, wiping out Heart London.

106.3 would be Deutschlandfunk from Hornisgrinde in SW Germany. It's belting in here this evening. Try 96.2, 98.4 and 100.4 as well. They use 93.5 also but that will almost certainly be blocked by Wrotham.

Last time I listened, things were a bit rubbish compared to what the forecast was suggesting. I was only getting about 2 French stations, 2 Belgians and a few extra British ones.

I find it gets better after dark, though, so I'll listen again shortly.

Last night I heard France Culture on a new frequency - 88.5 from Bourges.

Kinda defeats the point if you're just gonna shoot from further away.
Lost the European stations now. Just Kiss East coming in (strongly).
EDIT: Strong BBC Kent from Swingate, with RDS. No sign of the KMs or DAB from 11C.

Oxford DAB and Northants/Herts, Beds and Bucks DAB coming through. On FM suprised to be picking up BBC Devon on 103.4 (a BBC local radio station is on that frequency and FM List only displays BBC Devon as a BBC local radio station so it must be that).

This is mad!! More French than I can possibly list (Lille +some others at RDS levels) loads of German as well- including 105.1 (unid- German speech), 98.4 SWR3 with RDS, 96.2 (unid) good stereo.

Domestic lift as well- BBC Nationals from Tacolneston and Sutton Coldfield at RDS, BBC Radio Wales 103.9 at RDS.

100.7 is Heart West Midlands (despite my aerial pointing almost exactly 90 degrees away from that), plus a lot of disturbance on signals that are normally rock solid here.

Location- Farnborough, Hants.

Equipment- Sony STSB920 with 4 element Triax pointing east.

Not sure about 105.1 adc but 96.2 is almost certainly SWR 2 from Hornisgrinde, the same site as 98.4.
Still somewhat mad here with Brocken also coming in well on 101.4 (Radio SAW).

Here near Bristol just on a telescopic rod aerial getting National FM stations with RDS from North Hessary Tor, Rowridge, Sutton Coldfield, Wrotham, Crystal Palace and Oxford. Most of the locals from Crystal Palace and Croydon, Heart from Northampton on 96.60 which is a new one for me, BBC Solent from Rowridge on 96.10 and Wave 105 from Chilerton Down on 105.20 all strong with RDS. And amongst this unid French stations on 88.00 89.00 and Lille on 103.70. This is a good opening and as predicted from last week.
Ref R Devon on 103.40 is from North Hessary Tor with an ERP of 15Kw's. Its from a prime high site and does travel well.

I can go one better with Germany on DAB - unfortunately my Pure Evoke -1 is not DAB+ so no audio.

Sorry about the poor pictures they were taken with an iPod.

Interesting that the SWRinfo is not DAB+ it's original flavour DAB.

It's a bit bubbly mud but I managed to get a short recording.

Edit:
It looks like this is the multiplex that I received.

Now that is an impressive log KnobTwiddler. I was wondering earlier on whether any German DAB was making the trip over here. What aerial are you using?

It's only a home made dipole.

After this I am seriously thinking about setting up a couple of phased 5 element beams and getting a DAB+ tuner.

I can't do any dx'ing on Band II because of the London pirates, but maybe DAB is another option - I have plenty of ally tubing so I feel some DAB aerial construction is on the list of things to do.

Wow that's even more impressive!

Those signals from Bregenz are going up to 2 bars on the Denon. I also logged 102.1 ORF FM4 and 106.5 Antenne Vorarlberg.
