Things going according to plan so far!!!
Does anyone agree that right from the beginning of this programme the 3 judges sat down together, decided which of their 3 acts they wanted in the final (because I reckon that is how it will pan out - they wouldn`t want any one judge sat twiddling their thumbs for weeks). So, from that we can be certain it would have been G4 from Louis, Tabby from Sharon and Rowetta from Simon. Then they had to work out a plan how to achieve that aim. Things working out so far so good - Louis has now got his finalist - the judges now have to make sure he keeps them until the final. I reckon they had 2 scenarios worked out last night VWS v Cassie (Simon was expecting this as he said on Yorkshire TV Friday night he thought Cassie would leave). The second scenario was VWS v G4. It was all nicely planned beforehand that they would work it so Louis had to choose (extra tension makes good tv viewing). Now we come to next week. I think it`s fair to say that Cassie, G4 and Steve (people are now beginning to see he is, indeed a one trick pony) are vulnerable. I think because Rowetta and Tabby have had their profiles raised far more than the others, they are perceived as being safer than the others. So now next week (according to their plan) Cassie will leave if she is in the bottom 2 with either Steve or G4. Week after that and Steve will have run out of "crooning songs", Sharon will have slated him yet again, and the public will start agreeing with her. And whoever is with him that week, Louis and Sharon will make sure he goes (not Steve`s biggest fans, I think you will agree). And finally folks, there you have, as if by magic (and a little manipulation).........your final 3. Rowetta, Tabby and G4 - one from each judge. Of course, I may be completely wrong, but I have a feeling that is EXACTLY the scenario. If I am wrong I shall slink away never to be seen again

that's weird because before the live shows started. Tabby, Ro and G4 were MY faves in each group. Nice that the whole show is panning out in accordance with MY plan (having a Truman show moment again....)

I think you are probably on the right lines there but it could be Steve who reaches the final rather than Rowetta. Steve seems to be gaining in popularity and Rowetta seems to be slipping back. I think it could be G4, Steve and Tabby in the final 3.

That would require Simon to vote G4 over Cassie. Will he? |

It all sounds about right to me. They all have their favourites, that's obvious, the only thing that will change that is if they scrap the judges vote before we're down to the final three.
Is the final on December 4th? I'm a ssuming it is as by then we'll be down to three acts. If we go down to 2 I'm going to be p***ed off as I have to go out on December 11th.

Must admit it's the loudest and most vocal slinking I've ever seen and it's not exactly away.
Thankyou rimsky for reminding us of this. |
