I really don't like them being able talk about noms. I'm a BB purist and really miss the old days when we had secret noms, live feed (I remember having four live feeds to choose from!!) and the brilliant WHATM thread on the main forum.

It has lost just about everything I loved about it, but my addiction is so great that I cannot tear myself away from it.

Me neither There is no longer the anticipation of wondering who is going be up for eviction and all the housemates seem to talk about is who they are going nominate :yawn:.

Without live feed, the editor can just cherry pick scenes to create the story they want to tell and potray housemates in whichever way they like. Did you notice how Lauren and Shivonne's argument over the cigarettes was completely censored out of the highlights show and not even referred to .It's no longer a reality tv show

Yes I did notice the ciggie conversation was omitted - and that would have shown Shievonne up as two faced after her soliloquy about how Lauren was her little darling (can't remember the exact words she used) at the end of last night's show.

Exactly, they also didn't show the scene where she was bitching about Lauren in the garden with Ashleigh. However they managed to show Luke's conversation with Arron where he described him as a nice lad, immediately before he was shown saying that he would have prefered to see arron put up for eviction, instead of his two friends, in an obvious attempt to portray him as two face

Do you mean the doctor gossip clip? In that Clip Luke and Benedict are discussing who they should nominate. Benedict suggests Connor but Luke thinks that Luke S is a better target. They are also unsure about Deana's role in the alliance as apparently, she sometimes doesn't think before she speaks.

Either there is a blip or there is some weird thing where you can only watch a clip once. I tried to watch it earlier but couldn't hear anything, so I have just tried again now that I am home and it says 'watched' and won't play.

I don't think they should have allowed them to talk about nominations in the first place. It's a shame that the ban was enforced after the clique plotted to get rid of Lauren and Benedict.

Sara was upset about nominations. Feeling a bit guilty about nominating Lauren I think. Luke said that its just going to get harder every week as the number goes down. But its important to remember that everyone has to nominate and be nominated. So they have to not take it too personally.

Luke is (rightly) narked that they have waited till now to stop nomination talk and says "they should have f***ing done it in the first place and it's too little, too late". I have to agree with him.

Lol. Not his best look. Quite endearing watching the three scientists bonding in the task room then a bit of a downer watching Benedict moaning about the young people getting drunk while they sat in the garden. I was pleased that Luke didn't say anything like that, but was just upset that Lauren was being used by them. I think the scientists are going to win the task - they hardly seem to have got anything wrong yet.
