I can't remember the new style WHATM thread being like this up until now - it has generally been non partisan in the main. I am in total agreement with you both about the bias which is creeping in and it is diverting the focus away from the purpose it was set up for. It's a shame really.

Recording BB at the moment, so I thought I would share my thoughts with you. I think Benedict is playing a brilliant game since his nom reveal. He is outing the 'mean girls' and no doubt more is to come from him. Whilst boosting his profile in this way could be a dangerous game, there are many who will love it and vote for him for calling it like it is. On the flip side he has nothing to loose. If he goes he has sown the seeds of doubt in their minds as to 'possible public perception' and set the cat amongst the pigeons. It is quite gallant in a way, he really likes Lauren, Luke A and a few of the others, and to me he is now playing a blinder.
PS. I'm very upset that it is Lauren V Benedict.

From watching the highlights its definitely Luke S who has upset Luke. I think that Luke feels that Luke S is trying to take control over everything including the Kitchen and shopping list and not letting him have any input what so ever.

So do I, we rarely get to see Luke A and Luke S together, so there is a lot we haven't seen. I thought his reasons for feeling frustrated with Luke S were reasonable and have been supported by other housemates.It must be frustrating and disheartening to be made to feel like your not important.
The audience on BBBOTS seemed to think that Luke A is jealous of Luke S because he wasn't born a man and one person even suggested that it's because he is less capable of doing physical tasks
Which I thought was very unfair.

Yes, I'm certain she didn't say anything of the sort. It was a very short interview. There was a segment, where the audience were asked what they thought of the Luke S situation and many were in agreement that Luke A was jealous because he was born a woman and Luke is apparently a 'real' man

How is your son? Is he still working abroad?
You would be wise to avoid the threads on the main forum. I unfortunately wasn't and i'm now very het up ( I get way too involved in these things) .

Yes he is still away but will be back in 3 weeks time to enjoy the summer before uni in September. He was saying last night that he is going to sleep for a week and can't wait for the peace at home and his own comfy bed. Plus, of course, a full fridge and meals from mum.

Have now watched BBOTS and can confirm the obvious fact that Luke's wife doesn't say that he wishes he was Luke S. As if. A random member of the audience does say that early on, but another random member of the audience then says that he thinks the problem is that Luke S is uncomfortable with Luke A, so fair enough.
Luke's wife says nothing more scandalous than that he wooed her with smooth talking, that he is closest to Adam, and that she doesn't mind him being transfixed by Lauren's gymnastics because she was the same. She also produces what Alice rightly says are the worst novelty slippers in the world. There is a pretty photograph of Luke-as-Laura on her 18th birthday and the same very nice wedding photograph that she has on her twitter. I challenge anyone to make anything untoward about that; indeed I see that in the WHATM thread sad bb addict specifically said that he/she likes Becki on BBOTS.

Yes, stay away for a bit. It has actually got worse this morning. I am a combative person but just can't be bothered to deal with this level of juvenile unpleasantness. It is obvious why some people have take against Luke and it is nothing to do with his personality.
Edit: though it is always worth sticking a vote in the forum polls imo as otherwise it turns into a John James and Josie scenario where you would have thought they didn't have a single fan between them on DS.
