4.20pm: Confused? We all are, but Luke A is flying through, which is even more confusing given his plan to save Adam by failing

4.21pm Yep, Luke A is in. Head in hands. Is it that he just couldn't bring himself to lose when it came to the crunch? Hmmm ‪

People are already slagging Luke A off, INCLUDING some of those who were slagging him off for contemplating throwing it. Win win

We won't know how it happened till we see it.

Green team won.

But Luke didn't throw the task so I imagine there be an uproar on the main forum.

It's quite possible that BB spoke to Luke A, and warned him about throwing the task

Seems highly likely to me. Haven't other HMs in other BBs been warned about doing things like this? Siavash comes to mind but can't remember why, or did I imagine it?

It does seem odd - there are a couple of forum members who will defend Caroline to the hilt on the charge of being a bitch, but will lay into Luke for bitching. I know we all have our little prejudices but that is ridiculous.

I know, it's completely bizarre??

I don't understand the hysterical reaction on the MF to Luke not throwing the task. Some people have said he's now on their 'hitlist' and that he is a 'back stabber' and spineless.' Even if he decided not to throw the task at the last minute, it doesn't mean he 'screwed Adam over,' Surely it was only ever an idea and he had no obligation to fail the task. It seems like people are just looking for an excuse to justify disliking him, now that there vendetta against Conor has run out of steam. .

You can bet your bottom dollar that if he had thrown the task he would have been verbally attacked on the MF for letting down his team etc.

Yes, I'm sure you're right, he was in a lose - lose situation . A lot of people on here aren't happy unless they have someone on their 'hitlist. Personally I'm glad that he didn't throw the task, I think that it's better that he played it fair and he achieved the
outcome he wanted without cheating.

Having watched the video he certainly wasn't breaking his neck to complete the task as quickly as possible. Adam had great difficulty finding the correct key, whereas Luke only tried two or three before finding the right one. Once he had done that it would have been virtually impossible to have thrown the task without it being obvious to a blind man.

Once he got in the diary room he looked gutted, but I don't think he could have gone anything different. He is not to blame, and certainly didn't go back on his word deliberately.

Agreed thank goodness! Hope people give him credit on the mf.

Agreed, I think all of the forum members who were quick to judge him as a 'spineless backstabber' will be eating their words.

That is NOT the reaction of someone who would deliberately screw his mate over! He couldn't help the fact he accidentally started at the right end of the keys and Adam started at the wrong end.

So happy the greens won, even though it's a personal loss for Luke. He was smart enough to see the bigger picture.

I don't think there is a cat in hell's chance of of them giving him any credit. There are a fair number on there who are waiting for the slightest thing to jump on him and blacken his character.

You are right Val. He was completely snookered when that happened.

Didn't he appear to be taking his time over the question also, without making it blatantly obvious?

He did everything he could do. That daft Hillingdon character has descended to his usual level though and made another grossly inaccurate thread.

She really is terrible at describing people! I took this as trying to compare him to some nerdy types she'd met on her "gap yah" - y'know, the sort who's actually interested in the place they're visiting instead of how quickly they can drink away Daddy's allowance.

I am suprised, people are now reversing their positions, except that idiot Larry. So they see he was trying to throw it

Agreed, he looked gutted when he first entered the diary room, almost like he was going to cry.

A few people who were quick to think the worst of him, have apologised. However some are still insisting that he could have pretended to not unlock the safe.

I agree that there are many people on here who will use any information, even if it's fictitious, to discredit him and to justify their disdain.
