Yes. I would be disconcerted at the horrible, violent images used by the young to describe sex if it were not for the fact that my daughter is outraged. So it's not just a generation thing, and we need not be afraid of being labelled too old to understand. (I am referring to myself. for all I know, you could be a very articulate 15.)

[quote=wonkeydonkey;58933438]Oooh, I think I was a bit of a thorn in the side of Aaron fans last year. Still, a new series is a new game and I hope we can be friends this time round.

But of course, I'm friends with everyone, I just don't always agree with them

That's ridiculous I hate the way Adam and others have used such violent language about sex, it suggests to me that they don't view sex as a mutual act to be enjoyed by both partners but it is only pleasurable for men, and women are merely empty vessels which serve a purpose to please men. I think it's awfully sexist and is often displayed in laddish culture, particulary on the dreadful website 'uni lad'. People who find it funny or harmless, try and justify it as 'banter' and get very defensive when you disagree with them

I think everything Luke has said about the other women was reasonable. He said that Sara was the best good looking and Lauren had the best personality.

That's a great attitude to have, it's a shame everyone else can't adopt it.

It appears that Adam and Luke have sussed Lydia out - http://www.channel5.com/bigbrother

Took this from the MF.

Day 14: Lydia is rumbled

She's tried to make herself everything to everyone but there are two men in the House for whom Lydia is no longer a friend. As Adam and Luke A lay sprawled on the sofas outside, they quietly began to discuss who they trust.

"You and Lauren... There was a point when I would have said Lydia but no..." said Luke, sadly, with a one-thousand-yard-stare.

"No," agreed Adam. But one negatory didn't cut it. "No, no, no," he added, each syllable containing a world of sullied trust.

"There's an old school saying," said the man who a week ago voted Lydia as his favourite housemate, "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer."

"You don't think Shievonne's like that do you?" asked Luke A.

"No," replied Adam. "I haven't seen her get mad at anyone yet. It's slowly going to come out."

Before these two soul brothers could lay more home truths on each other, Conor came dashing out.

What news? The owner of a certain item of dirty laundry had been established. Ashleigh!

I wonder if the outcome of noms would have been different if Benedict had been able to vote. Unfortunately the group I dislike is larger and unless Luke's group try to win over the floaters then they are going to be annihilated over the coming weeks.

I am pleased to see him opening up and expressing his opinion more, even if that leads to more threads on the main forum from those who are outraged by his "moody strops". It's laughable really - if those mild statements from Luke constitute a major strop I would hate to think what would be said about me if they witnessed me in full flow.

Last time I posted here was page 1, glad to see so many pages on his thread now
Still liking Luke A (along with Adam), and nice to see a bit more of him on the show.
Gonna do my best to keep Lauren in for Luke

me too. and...

Spoiler
Luke A to Luke S: "Are you going to nominate me again?" Luke S: "No, mate. I think that was a mistake." Luke S nominates Luke A and Luke A nominates Luke S. So no great new friendship there.

Spoiler
I really hope that Luke A, Adam, Deana and Benedict/ Lauren form a voting alliance, as that is the only chance they have of staying in the house, as they will inevitably be picked off, one by one by the other group. Hopefully they work towards voting in unison, now they are starting to suss Lydia and Shivonne out.

I presume that Shivonne misunderstood Becky, when she told her to vote for 'LA' and thought she meant Luke, instead of Lauren.

You might be right in your last point, but still, disappointing either way.

Some thoughts.

Spoiler
I detest that group of five - Caroline, Scott, Becky, Ashleigh and Sara. I have a very bad feeling about next week - we now have Shievonne and Luke S voting him, and Scott is fuming because Luke A was deemed one of the intelligent ones who have become the scientists in the shopping task. Caroline has already voiced her ideas about nomming him. He could well be up next week

Spoiler
Shiv nominates him because he contributed to ordering too many loaves of bread!! How pathetic, I'm surprised BB allowed that reason

Spoiler
Me too I'm really glad Luke was picked as a scientist, he has always come across as astute and intelligent too me. Scott just has sour grapes and is jealous and bitter that the housemates don't consider him to be one of the most intelligent. To me he just appears to be Caroline's shadow and never seems to have any opinions of his own and seems very pretentious. I've noticed that the five you mentioned all nominated in unison. I hope the opposing team do the same, otherwise they are doomed

That's a ridiculous, in that case she is just as much to blame. Apparently Lydia and Luke made themselves in charge of the shopping list, so surely she should be nominating them
