It's just guess work. My belief is that the 'off forum' audience is a bit different from the audience that uses facebook/forums, and that occasionally this upends expectations. I have seen it before when 'big characters' do worse than expected and 'ordinary nice' housemates do better.

This could have been a possibility, we will have to make sure that us who vote don't get complacent . I've noticed since that since Becky confronted Luke his popularity has increased rapidly, if facebook and you tube comments are anything to go by.

The problem with these opinion polls is people tend to vote on them as soon as they see them, ie. Monday or Tuesday. Whereas a massive proportion of the actual eviction vote takes place during the Friday show. So opinion polls (which in turn influence betting odds) don't take into account which of the nominees is having a good or bad week. Shievonne was a perfect example. She totally went into meltdown at her nomination whilst Conor kept his head down. So although initial reaction at the nominations was "get Conor out", by Friday it became clear that Shiv was too unstable and needed to get out of there for the sake of her well being.

In the case of Luke v Lauren, Luke took the approach of trying to clear the air with those who'd nominated him (those dang head to heads had some good use after all! ) I think that would have won him a lot of respect, as well as him loosening up and showing more of his fun side. Although Lauren didn't have a bad week as such, maybe people got put off her thanks to all that awkwardness brewing around Adam. Maybe some neutral viewers voted for Luke because Lauren had already survived one eviction and they thought Luke deserved to survive one too, as a mark of acceptance.

I thought it was a really good episode for Luke, it's good to see that he his survival from eviction has empowered him to have confidence of his convictions and be stand up for himself. I thought he came across really well in the clip on BBBOTS where he was trying settle his differences with Becky.

I read on twitter people couldnt mobile vote from jersey for lauren, doesnt sound like a big thing but there was only 7% difference so it may have made a difference.

I bet becky is gearing up to get luke up this week.

I am extremely worried about nominations again this week.
I think Luke will be definitely up unless a miracle happens and he gets an immunity. If he is up against Deana I better get a set of new nerves because my current ones are now in shreds after this week.
