I have not been able to dial out - incoming is fine - since April 23rd. I was told the line was fine and to buy a new cordless phone....waste of time! Then as no repair was forthcoming I employed an independent engineer, who located a fault at the exchange & spoke to Sky. Since then it was bounced from BT to Sky and back again

I tried to make a stand by not paying my bill on 01/06/2012 but had to give in to keep the TV and broadband online

Allegedly it had been marked as 'urgent' for first thing this morning - I am still waiting

I pay Sky Talk a load of money every month since Dec 2011 as my parents are in Jersey & I have to pay international tariffs to speak to my terminally ill father and my blind mother. They even cut off my phone in January as they 'thought' my bill was too high!!!

We have used Sky TV for 19 years & added Talk & BB 15 years ago.....new customers get a better deal

Do you have a dialtone but cannot make calls, or is there no dialtone ??, if you pay line rental to Sky then they are responsible for getting it fixed, even if BT are involved along the way, you are not a BT customer, Sky are...if the line tests ok, then obviously you have to ensure the problem isnt with your own equipment/wiring...if you have a NTE5 master socket, then with a known working phone, preferably a corded one, plug into the test socket and if its still faulty there, call Sky and insist they raise a fault report

I had a similar problem when I was with Sky Talk. The fault was at the exchange, however they were very very reluctant to find anything wrong at their end.

They were quite simply a nightmare when anything went wrong, so understand situation you were in!

If the fault had been sorted within the first week, just think of all those working hours wasted - plus my inconvenience!
