My apologies, over the last hour I've heard/read what happened, truly appalled at those comments. It's simple really, some people can't handle beautiful, strong minded women like Deana, really gutted at what it's come to but Deana will stay strong for sure.
I told myself I shouldn't post about BB on DS and just watch as invariably my favourites always go early with little support on here and I become disinterested towards the end but I had to post to add my support for the wonderful Deana.
She's been herself, mixed with people she identifies with, never shirked her responsibilities (including the spam task!), stood up for herself and stayed classy throughout.
She doesn't play the victim card - compare her to Lydia, who complains with about 5-10% of the treatment that Deana has had ! She definitely helps out, be it in the kitchen or tidying up and knows how to take a joke; look at the karate belt furore which she laughed off! Most model types who come on BB tend to have a huge ego or are very vain about themselves, Dean seems different. She takes care of her looks but isnt obsessed by them - shes often seen chatting during the day sans makeup! She doesn't take arguments lying down and can handle herself with aplomb and isnt distracted either - see the bedroom periodgate argument with Shievonne and Lydia teaming up on her.
Fave scenes are taking the belt of Lauren lol, telling Caroline the hairs were probably her own pubes and shutting Arron up by pointing out he's only arguing with her for the airtime as he is up for eviction!
One final thing - some have made a point about her lack of intellect but IMO she has a sense of cunning about her, witness when nom talk was allowed and she asserted with Lydia about block voting etc She seems to get on well with Lauren, Luke S and Adam, of course Lydia too but hopefully not after this Friday
Thoughts for this week; IMO I hope the boys keep taking shots at her, it will only garner more support if she continues to stand up. It seems most of team cools support is split - perhaps we could exploit some apathy and send some votes Lydia's way? I cannot fathom how the GBP would let Deana leave if the onslaught she is receiving keeps pace. Just imagine their faces when she gets cheered on Friday?! Lets hope it does her a world of good and she - not necessarily comes out of her shell - but is more involved in the H/L.
The end to tonights H/L show which showed her jesting with Adam and Luke A was a positive note and, in a normal episode, I probably would have left feeling happy however...yes, the Conor issue...
I cannot, for life of me, see how BB can justify keeping that ogre in the house, much like Jamie East, as a guy, hearing another Male HM joking about sexual assault and physically hitting a woman made me feel sick. I've always found it funny in the past when people get worked up by the treatment of cliques to other HMs eg Maxwell and co in BB6 or Richard BB7 to Shabhaz etc or even Alexandra in BB9 - remember BB1 Darren's "sick, sick, sick" rant at Nick Batemen?
Today's episode was nothing less then shocking and for BB to condone that behaviour without so much as a formal disciplinary warning, or, more appropriately, an expulsion beggars belief. I realise C5 are chasing ratings (getting sub 1mill), its still one of their most popular shows and will remain so, but they've made a grave error by letting him get away with it! He showed no contrition and didn't even apologise to Deana for his behaviour - he had the chance to when she was present but didnt want to talk about it! So insincere, I hope this side of behaviour is shown more and more over the coming weeks - this is second incident with Conor where he has intimated physical violence to another HM. The man is a vile bully and its good he is being exposed as one - lets just hope this isnt forgotten in a few weeks when he is up for eviction...

agree with everything you said....and seeing as you have twitter,perhaps you could ask some of the ex housemates that have LARGE fanbases,and have also been very vocal in their support of deana tonight to ask their followers to save deana as she will need all the help she can get
I can't stand the thought of conor and aaron's faces in paticular if she leaves on friday
I don't like him but Kirk Norcross has spoken up for her, as has Anton Murphy and Aisleyene and Victoria (First evictee)... just hope this story isn't quickly forgotten on Friday as that's when most of the votes are cast!

With regards to the forum, I see the majority of FMs are outraged by Conor's behaviour; you have the usual wind up merchants trying to get a rise out of Deana supporters but on the whole most agree she didn't deserve his bile.
Lets hope this translates into votes come this Friday, can only hope Lydia reverts to type with her typical neurotic behaviour - note, I find her GREAT viewing but she can polarise opinion so will have alot of haters and lovers.
Just disparage those threads with the topics of "ffs DS chosen one" or "another sacred victim bandwagon" threads; they come up every year when people stick up for the underdog or the ones getting picked on - some people just dont like this idea or see it as a poor reason to support others. To me its called basic human empathy! Plus I've never gotten why some people think the behaviour of some FMs can change their opinion on a Housemate!

That's people who only feel confident that their opinion is independent, if it's at odds with the majority's. That, or they simply like to be contrary.

She is deffo torn as she likes both HMs - hopefully this treatment towards Deana comes to an end soon, it really is ungratifying. Whether it ends with her eviction or the crowd cheering her name remains to be seen but I am optimistic that she will survive and go on to a bigger and better experience in there, safe in the knowledge people like her and admire for keeping up with the "banter" going on in there. It would certainly shake that house right up, Conor/Luke S/Arron would be shitting themselves!

yes ive noticed that about emma,she seems to not like Deana imo,ive thought this from the start,kept mentioning Shivonne whenever anyone commented on her being stunning,...
made me laugh the other day when she (emma) was asking about emails/tweets the tech guy said 'someones tweeted 'Deana is a lovely girl' '...emma said quickly 'yes and she shows it every day'...gave me an image of emma furiously scanning footage to find 'bad stuff' about Deana and frustratingly failing...
