I know people were saying it's because Aaron sussed her, but Lydia isn't the bad guy, her and Adam jointly prevented the boys from ruling the house.

As a rule, any post that says a HM "sussed" anyone is nonsense. Especially now that there's no live feed. For all we can tell, anything Arran said wasn't even an original thought but just an idea he picked up from someone else and repeated.

I hope Lydia's not up this week, but at least vote-to-save might help her if she is. (Depending on who else is up, of course.)

In the highlights thread, someone said "Lydia's facials are priceless."

I don't know whether they meant it in a positive way, but it's positive as I see it: She has a very expressive face, which is one of the things I like best in a housemate.

Loving Lydia at the moment, what a feisty lass she is!

Yes, it's interesting how there was such a mixed reaction to her tonight. Personally I thought she was great.

Sadly she'll be evicted if she's up against anyone in a one on one eviction (vote to save doesn't make a difference then) and could even go in a group eviction. I just hope she can somehow keep avoiding being up...

She is - by a distance - the most interesting housemate in there this year. I think she's a good person, she has her flaws- I won't dwell on those, as this is an appreciation thread - but they are part of what makes her so enjoyable to watch.

Hope she avoids being up again this week - and I'd like to see more of her in the diary room this week

She's Lydia, of course she's going to divide opinion, the best characters always do.

There are some people who have decided they don't like her and nothing she does will change their mind. Everything she does will be given a negative spin (like Aaron last year)

I've noticed people will go off a housemate with lightening speed at the smallest indiscretion, but that housemate would have to move mountains to become well liked after a poor first impression.

Seems Lydia had a "blazing row" with Arron today -- nominations day -- so she may well be up this week.

I don't think she will as she only antagonised Arron in that encounter. Plus I think she has a good position in the house of not getting nominated this week as there are biggest fish to fry by the names of Arron, Deana, Benedict and Lauren.

I agree with this post that there's something bird-like about her:

Loads of Lydia in tonight's show - the birthday stuff was great, and glad she was happy at the end of it. And we got to see a lot of her in the task too.
