Piglet crisps were my fav from the tuck shop. Bacon and bean flavour! Spiderman crisps were nice too.
Golden Cup was always much nicer than a Cadburys Caramel. |

Golden Cup was always much nicer than a Cadburys Caramel. Now the toffees in Roses dont taste as nice as they did when I was young and they changed the shape ![]() I dunno but Cadburys Caramel always seemed to have more caramel in than its present "Dairy Milk" variant

Does anyone remember Highland Toffee bars? (Had a pic of a cow on the front and were 10p) and Wham bars!! Loved them - surprised I had any teeth left actually.

I found a recipe leaflet showing really lovely cakes made with Nestles chocolate mousse mix I got at a cash and carry years ago. It was gorgeous. Now they only have it in New Zealand and Australia

I don't know if it is psychological but the brown Smarties tasted more chocolatey than the others and was my favourite
As for the blue ones... |

Loved cream n cheesy nik naks and i'm sure there was a 'bikers' 10p packet of crisps...spring onion flavour........agree about the puffs....wish they would bring them back instead of the 'guess the flavour' stuff and other same flavours but different packets they have brought out...

I remember Tab Clear and couldn't stand it yuck at the memory.
Unfortuantly I had just been diagnosed with Diabetes when it came out and my whole family were really kind and would buy it for me to drink as it was sugar free and I couldn't stand it!....I drank gallons of the stuff. |

Really sad to hear both Toffos and Texan went out of production in 2005
![]() Toffos were especially nice I just remember the last time I had them was from the Uni shop, and I started uni in late 2006 so it must've been after then at some point. I suppose it could have been towards the end of all the toffoes left. I just know I definitely had them, and they were mixed flavour, I wasn't mad keen on the plain ones, but the banana toffee was great, and i don't even like bananas (Other than foam ones) |

Meanies rings a bell, but i don't think i've seen them in years. I think i preferred Space Raiders. |

Meanies are still available. You can get them in ASDA.
I prefer them over Space Raiders because i'm sure SR have changed the recipe in the last year or two. They now taste like the cheap supermarket own brand alternative.

A Mars bar tastes metallic these days.
Interestingly, (perhaps for some) the best tasting bottled Coca Cola or Fanta is in Morocco. Must be something to do with the syrup they make under licence over there; reminded of great Coke from the 60's |

I don't know why everything has to be cheese and onion, i really liked the cheese Nik Naks and Hula Hoops. Walkers also did a toasted cheese flavour for a while which was really nice.
Its always something and Onion why cant they just invent a new good flavor with out onion in Sour Cream and Onion Cheese and Onion Pickled Onion/Pickle n Onion Steak and onion I wish they bought back Cheese Hula Hoops and the walkers toasted cheese and cheese nik naks and cream n cheesy nik naks (Bit like sour cream and onion) for the younger generation who never had them (i never had Hula hoops, walkers or the origianal cheese nik naks) |

Everything is smaller because the "Health Brigade" worried that a King Size was equivalent to a 1/3 of your daily food intake!
It's gone mad. Can't people make their own decisions! |

I have two great crisp memories from the 70's; Rancheros, which were a bacon flavor I think, and Kung Foos, which were cheese and onion balls, but tasted so much better than that. I'm guessing 1974 or 1975. I'll Google them now. |
