Morning JoJo

We had sun first thing, just had a shower and now the sun is out again.

I think I can just about tie up the HMs faces with their names but thats as far as it goes, we wont get to 'know' them like we did in the old days and will have to rely solely on what C5 choose to show us, waste of time really.

Allegedly to make it more 'exciting' When you get to my age you realise that some forms of 'excitement' aren't worth the adrenaline

Before i get onto medical matters..
I watched about half an hour of BB last night. Not much chance to assess character. So have to focus on clothes. The women dressed themselves presumably with the fact in mind that that they were appearing on natiopnal TV and wanted to look their best. They regard entry as being something of a party event. However, I have never seen such a trashy lot of women in all my life. Jeana had something of an indian sari about her, but bearing in mind what an elegant, attractive and figure enhancing garment it can be, she must be praised for her ability to bring it down to an Essex or Manchester level. She and the others were wearing stuff that reminded me of the lurex era. Gross.
I didn't see much of the men. There was a fat one who is a bouncer/ bailiff who was pleased at not getting many boos, which he expects a bailiff should. I seemed to notice more of the girls, but he must have entered my radar because of his un bouncer like squeaky voice while talking to the bloke who used to be a girl and a peroxide topped bloke who seemed effeminate. Then there was a dark chap who bonded with Luke S, accused of trying to be an alpha male. Then poor Conor, from Derry Northern ireland, who was nommed because he didn't speak to jeana as much as she expected him to. Then there was Lydia, who was miffed at being nommed and then sought as a friend by Jeana. Why is L the only girl that j thinks she can befriend. Mind you L's outfit was Ok. Oh. is it her that is "engaged" to the Scott-Lee bloke? Ahh, in the world of the manky, the slightly famous appear to have more good taste in clothes than the rest. then there is the fat girl accused of giving jeana the evil eye.... good gracious, i must have taken in a lot more of what was going on than I imagined possible.

Medical bulletin from Littsis Towers

Two weeks ago son had emergency medical appointment at doctor's for lump. referred to consultant for second opinion. appointment made by us via computer using password and codes, very efficient, appointment made for today at choice of hospital. consultant very attractive, unnerving until established that he has a son at same school, in same year. Examined, explained what he thought, sent us for immediate ultrasound, back to consultant, confirmed watery cyst, no problem, unlikely to grow to size of balloon, but if it does, will cut it out. All done in less than an hour. NHS at its best. Worries over. Son wonderful. Able to tell mother immediately found the problem, and carried on with exams with no mention of fretting.

So time for a rest before opticians for us both this pm. Thanks for advice, jojo, will stick with the optician at Boots, have established rapport, but will get dispensed at Specsavers if price is right. (My budgetting system is creaking at the joints, it has been in plave for only a year and funds have not been built up sufficiently to cover dentures this year (weren't expected until next) and glasses for both son and i which are on a two year cycle).

That must have come as a relief all round and fantastic that the NHS came up trumps in their efficiency.

Afternoon, Gemo. Yes, and only two weeks of worrying.
Good news about yours too, still remember the concern we all felt when it first happened. Seemed such a long time before you would know how well it had been treated, and here we are already.

When I referred to L I was referring to Lydia, not Luke A or Luke S, as far as I saw, lydia was the only one who was an L nommed by Deana, and whom Deana had claimed as her only possible ally, which is why I didn't keep spelling out her full name. I am still proud of my recall, bearing in mind i have watched only one half hour so far.
I didn't mention Shievonne, who comes from Bromley. In Kent, I believe, not By Bow.
